Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
30w is not a big deal for a 6amp battery. If you have doubts you can change indicators to led unit which will easily save 30w for auxiliary lights.Originally posted by Anunay View Postsigpic

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Super.. Congrats dude.. The pillion discomfort is the climbing alone.. Seats are good.. But difficult for ladies... If they r coming with u rarely during weekends it won't be a big dealOriginally posted by Anunay View PostSo here comes my warrior(white). Its a fantastic handler in city that too with pillon. And the grips offered by tyres are exceptional. The whole chassis blends with the tyre and makes a good package. Coming from R15.
What I really liked :
1. The torque, its all over, every gear every where till (tested upto 7000 rpm)
2. Seating position. Comfy both for pillion and rider.
3. Stance & Handling
4. Fuel tank, 14 litre Its awesome for touring.
5. Lightweight body.
6. Exhaust note, super refined, I bet you can't find a better refined bike in 200-250cc other than CBR.
Whats not so good:
1. Instrument panel, its just basic other than real time mileage indicator and clock.
2. Wiring and switch gears are of some low quality ( not felt like that of typical yamaha thing)
3. The pillion seat height, my wife struggles to climb.
4. The hedlamp is just OK. It holds on coming beams. But not good for driving more than 70 kmph at night. Width of beam is also less.
5. Abs missing ( why yamaha why!)
Will post the detailed review soon.

Congrats on your new ride. Appreciate your decision for FZ25 on practical approach.Originally posted by Anunay View PostSo here comes my warrior(white).
3. The pillion seat height, my wife struggles to climb.
Just one clarification. How far the seat height is low compared to R15 V2.0 ?

What all accessories were available at the dealer?
Also did you get the registration number from RTO as the dealer in Thane said that FZ25 still does not have an RTO passing.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I feel very few people are interested in fz25. Dont get me wrong but acc to me this thread is not that much active. I mean I was expecting a lot more interest and excitement which is missing. Don't if its just me or you guys are also feeling the same. I feel people are more interested in p200 ns and rtr 200 than fz25.sigpic

There are many people who are interested in the bike. There are few points which make people less interested in FZ25 compared to other bikes.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View PostI feel very few people are interested in fz25. 1. This is not a completely new bike, the design is carried from older FZ-Series and even some parts. Which most of the people already have seen it.
2. Not many people have got their hands on the bike yet, in many cities the deliveries are yet to start where is some some tier 2 and tier 3 even the display bikes have not arrived yet and not even a test ride is available.
3. Though the bike is very good in performance, it lacks the wow factor which other bikes in its category has, Ex: Duke 250, CBR 250, Mojo, Dominar etc.
Its been more than 2 weeks that I have booked my bike, the stock is already with the dealer, but they cannot deliver it nor they can offer a test ride because they haven't got the approvals from RTO to sell or register the bike yet.

That's for many bikes in the market today. As a package it's a new bike.

Yes the supply is less and tier 2 and tier 3 are not there primary markets. And tier 3 ? Even splendours don't arrive on time there sometimes

That's subjective because for some bhp, LED headlights, exhaust note or a fairing , each element can be a wow factor. For me FZ25 as a complete package and an all rounder cause other bikes don't give you everything.

Sorry to hear about that, but RTO process are already on, I just came back from Thane RTO for passing. Yamaha is not giving out test rides, looks like they are not in the mood for numbersLeh,Ladakh & Lahaul Ride to Heaven & Back - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/1...aven-back.html

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Seat hight is a little more than R15 and that makes it look big while you are riding. I am 5, 7 and its a light weight machine so no problem for me.Originally posted by dineshaugustin View PostCongrats on your new ride. Appreciate your decision for FZ25 on practical approach.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Brakes are ok. Still it's in early stage. Can't say much but also not equal to that of r15. The front one has a feel of duke390 brakes. Not sharp bite but catchy.Originally posted by IamAditya View PostHow are the brakes?
Especially the front?
