Are the suspension exactly same as FZ15 especially the rear monoshock?
As per rushlane, the suspension is the same.

I guess its good that Yamaha gave only 5 speed otherwise we wouldn't be having this trait. And they know what they are doing to their bikes.
EDIT : This 5th gear /rpm ratio is similar to the CBR 250R 6th gear/rpm ratio.

I feel 5th gear of fz is even taller than cbr's 6th gear but fz's bigger rear sprocket makes it stand on par with cbr 250.

        It's all right. I didn't believe you anyway. [emoji14]

There is no way it could have more than 2L. Probably 1% of fz 250 customers would ride the bike beyond its engine cooling capacity, but 90% of customers would like a lower service bill.

I personally would like a 3L oil capacity, just for the longer service intervals.

Few points from my Test Ride of Yamaha FZ25:

1> Bike feels very torquey in all the gears.
2> Engine refinement is best in class, may be a notch below cbr250.
3> It feels light and nimble in traffic. (not as nimble as gixxer or fz16)
4> Acceleration is not slow at all as the power figures suggest. Infact it feels faster than p200ns.
5> It can cruise happily at 100kmph @62-6300rpm(approx) which is great for touring.
6> Looks are always subjective but it looks like a grown-up fz16 with some design elements from MT series.
7> 5th gear is tall enough for highways. People who are bashing it for 5-speed gearbox should test ride it properly.

Nothing comes for free in this world. Check the cost breakup. Cost will be hidden some where & free helmet is just to lure you with freebies.

Do simple trick - ask them the helmet cost & request them to discount the said amount .

Update on the gearbox. I adjusted the clutch cable a bit and now the gears seem much better. Neutral comes easy. Surprisingly, the clutch adjustment is only near the lever and not near the engine. Maybe I am missing something

U have to check the cost breakup and compare with other dealers, they would say anything to seel the product.

Forget about the helmet from dealers guys..

If they give also throw it in the bin, they might give a 900rs hellmet'er..

                          Get some good quality , ZEUS,SOL,MT or LS2 .

                          Safe ride.
                          Cheers.
