If I remember correctly, there is an RTO rule in Maharashtra which mandates the dealer to issue a helmet for each vehicle sent for registration, apparently the customer has to sign a separate challan as proof of having received the said helmet.

However the quality of helmets 'given away' by the dealers can be anybody's guess!! Therefore as suggested by IamAditya and others here, it is strongly recommended to go in for safe riding gear including Helmets.

Totally agree with you I have a good helmet and riding gear, only wanted to know if it's the same across all dealers

136 looks dull when I could do 141 KMPH with my R15S. (NOTE: I'm not into high speeds, just saying)

Not much of a difference I feel, I mean overall it is much faster and torquey than R15 and at the same time it costs almost same...
                      BTW one more positive review:

As per my test ride experience Pillion seat is slightly more roomier than FZ-fi. I cannot comment on its comfort as I haven't experienced it.

V box calculated top speed reported by PD was 134 so this could be close to that

                                Agreed.
Having owned a first gen FZ16 for 6 years, only to own a R15S later(as R3 was way out of my budget), I was pretty excited and sad at the time when Yamaha suddenly announced this bike, if only I could wait for some time. Though R15S is a different ballgame altogether.

I believe this bike is going to do wonders for Yamaha once again. And brilliant work with the gearing from Yamaha.

                                Regards.

That almost every bike with digital console has. But I'd like to see your source please.
