Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Don't take any of his reviews seriously. The guy who mentions wrong power output in his description can never be true in reviewing it. ( Just an example ). He has earned lot of disrespect with regard to his videos in past. Check powerdrift/motorbeam/autocar/overdrive.Originally posted by VaibhavPisal View Post

Motorbeam is useless, there reviews are biased, its all upto that Faizal Khan.Originally posted by Anunay View PostDon't take any of his reviews seriously. From now Zigwheels is must watch.
Because Kartikeya Singhee has left Autocar and Joined Zigwheels.

i do like videos made by powerdrift, schumi from overdrive, Kartikeya who has recently moved to zigwheels.
one thing about kartikeya is whatever complains about bike he tells, all of them are completely spot on. no bike is perfect and he tells complaints (or should i say peculiar behaviour) exactly the way i feel when i ride it.
powerdrift mostly complain about stuff when bike is on edge of its performance capability. cause apparently most test riders are professional racers. so not really relevant for me as road user and casul sport riding. none the less i enjoy music and production values in their videos.
kartikeya gave a very fair review for fz25 and surprisingly he even picked a few faults in duke 390. apparently all other journalists are worshipping it and buying for themselves, ultimate endorsement. what he said made sense cause those aspects were present in older 390.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Both bikes are good and evenly matched for your requirement ride both and see which suits you best , my choice is fz 25Originally posted by rudyricky View PostHey guys can anyone please help me in buying a bike between Yamaha fz25 and apache 200
As I am not going to go above 100km/hr
And mostly city riding and a little more fuel economy won't hurt 😅

It's clear, FZ25 for below reasons IMO -Originally posted by rudyricky View PostHey guys can anyone please help me in buying a bike between Yamaha fz25 and apache 200

good low end grunt for city rides and one of the fastest to 100
supple ride
better nvh than cometition
better mileage than rtr
Only area rtr might be better is in handling, purely from reviews, I have never ridden rtr FYI.

You're asking this question in FZ25 thread, what response do you expect?Originally posted by rudyricky View PostDoes fz has better economy?

There will be a never ending comparison list which will confuse you more because every person has different opinion. So try out both bikes and make your own choice.
PS: Yamaha's Blue Core technology is supposedly helping with a better FE but again it all depends on rider and riding conditions.

Also not so close friend of mine has rtr and he claims ~35 kmpl real world economy with mix of city and highway rides (40-60). I believe fz too should return around same. If not better, once mine arrives I can share more.
Anyways EOD test ride and feel seals the deal, both are equally good in their own ways, my vote was for fz

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
yamaha looks to offer more power and torqe and also pretty good 0-100 times. its also some 15 more expensive than rtrfi. so you basically get what you pay for.Originally posted by rudyricky View PostHey guys can anyone please help me in buying a bike between Yamaha fz25 and apache 200

rtr i could not get test ride, but i went to showroom multiple times and did sat on it to get a bit of feel. but i feel biggest difference in 2 are in ergos.
fz i have ridden. it is proper street fighter handling bike. you wont lean on it much. also all traction you will feel from rear tire through seat. you can drag rear to have some fun and feel from the bike.
on rtr apparently you can lean more. cant comment on front end feel cause i have not ridden it. but its fairly upright bike so no idea how tvs have managed it.
comfort and touring i will take fz over rtr.
all other aspects are more or less same.

I have sat on both bikes, what I felt is
RTR has a little heavy front end,
Whereas fz has light Handel and can change directions slightly quickly.
I am using pulsar 180(old one, without clipons). It is more like commuter riding stance.
Just help me in this if I chose either of them? In which in feel more at home?
Because in Fz I felt foot pegs were rear set
and in apache though not rear set but slightly up which means I have to bend keens more to put my feet on pegs.

if you wanna feel at home, yamaha eyes closed. thats what they do very well.
as for heavy front end feel on rtr, i think that should disappear while on the move.
