    To the FZ25 owners

Im planning to upgrade from my 8 year old FZ16. Just have one huge concern among many others.
How is the headlight spread ? does it perform well ?
Can anybody share their view on this ?

The Headlight is just okay and not a big deal. However it's too low for my need. The beam just needs to slighty higher. It perfect for highway and street use. The spread is not wide though. Since it's white light, the illumination of the lit up area is 100% and crisp.

Thanks for the reply mate !!
So you are saying that the spread isn't something to brag about but the light is pretty strong, right ?
Just say this, is it better than a 55/60W setup on an FZ16 ?
On a side note ? can we adjust the height or angle of the headlight beam ?

Yes it is better since it's an LED setup. If you compare the spread (width) of a 55/60w of Philips Night Vision, then Philips is better. Yes you can adjust the light post which this will be perfect. I somehow prefer these LEDs over traditional ones. Also don't worry too much about the headlamps, they are perfect for what they are made for.

              What was this?? 🙄

FZ25 can be started with old FZ-S key and vice versa??
The video shows that both FZ's keys are interchangeable. Don't know how it happened. Normally each key & lock is unique.
              Thanks

I had seen happening in old splendours.. Might be the old locks are blunt inside

Hey Anunay... was your registration done? From which dealer had you got your bike from?

No, not yet. But I have told them that I am not going to give them a single penny if there is a price hike. It's not my fault. They have forwarded the file to RTO. Hopefully I should receive my registration number by end of the week.

Am planning, from zma-r. Waiting for few more reviews. Whole objective is touring (below 100kmph)

I ride a 2014 FZS and never really checked on mine. I just noticed that my bike is able to do 85 at 6500 RPM @ 5th Gear. So , simply put ,is it just 15 kmph difference in power when compared to the FZ? PS - I haven't test ridden the FZ25. May be my comparison is wrong and doesn't make sense. Please correct if this is wrong.

Its all upto the gearing (gear ratios).
                            CBR250 has 22.# torque and 26ps power FZ25 has 20nm torque and 20.9ps power
                            Both bike does 100kmph @ 6.3k RPM.
NOTE: CBR250 has 6 gear and Fz25 has only 5.

                            [emoji51] hope its clear.
                            Cheers.

I owned A FZ16 too which did similar numbers at stock (85kmph at 6500RPM) and 90kmph at 6000 RPM with a 15t front sprocket.

So if the Fz25 is doing 100kmph at around 6200RPM then I'd say it'll make for rather handy tourer as the engine won't be too stressed at those revs.
