No. I own FZS for about 8 years now. Not even a single day my auto start hesitated. Coming from same linage, i am expecting the same performance and bike does lived upto it. In my test ride, the bike started instantly.

If the issue continues check with SVC.
Today morning, I decided to go for a quick city run before the traffic set in. Got to the bike and had to press the starter button for almost a second before the bike started. No issues once the engine was running.
I've ridden my friend's RS200 and I've to just press the button for the engine to start.
This is getting me a little worried. Anybody else with a similar issue?

What is the 1st service interval guys? The Service center said its 1000km or 30 days but as per the manual, it is 1000 km or 60 days.
I am confused, kindly shed some light !

Someone here in kochi got 52 kmpl.

Are these figures possible or any issue with mileage sensors?

Might be sensor issue.. Not feasible for a 250cc bike.. More than company average.

I took tour of 220km yesterday, (90% highway riding.)
It is showing 46 kmpl. I just got shocked.
I reset average before starting my tour in order to calculate current average of the bike.
I am also doubtful about average figures.

                          A different question ...
Can the gear shifter be replaced with a toe heel shifter?

1st of all, I find toe heel shifter more convenient and also I do not want my shoes to get scrubbed with shifter.
Anybody who has this done with even Fz16 or Fazer will also be helpful.

                          Thanks

Yes, this can be done on fz16 as sz and fz shares the same engine and sz comes with a normal gear shifter it will be an easy swap.

                            Useful accessory.
