Me too facing the similar problem. when contacted the svc, they told me that it can't be adjusted! Have you adjusted yours? if so how?

Blink rate was same as the Stock indicators.

Hello everyone. An update on the starting and stalling problem on my Yamaha FZ25. Having done around 70 kms on the bike, today i faced an extremely jerky ride after which the bike stalled and refused to start. I called up the dealer and they sent support staff after sometime. The bike started but was not revving properly and stalled continuously. They have identified the problem to be associated with the spark plug cap on a presumptive basis. They have taken the bike to the service centre, but the spark plug cap replacement is not in stock. Looks like the bike will be stranded for a few days. Anybody else faced this kind of problem yet?

For better FE please use Indian oil xtra premium. I got around 4-5kmpl extra.
Before with normal petrol I too used to get around 32-33 only. Now easily 37-39 in city.

Premium fuel is not recommended for low compression engine. Octane level in regular fuel range from 85 to 87 while in premium 90-91. It is for higher compression engine. I used premium fuel in my early bike and experienced low torque and FE same was experienced by another member. Manual also suggest to use unleaded fuel only. My FZ delivers 45kpl, last time drove a little harsh so got 42.
For better FE use the real time avg indicator to learn better use of the throttle. When you gain a certain speed just close the throttle slightly and you will find gain of 4-5kmpl at same speed. Means you will be burning less fuel, hence, there will be less unburnt fuel, low emission and less carbon deposits. Last but not least, use air braking whenever you can.

Yes whichever is earlier. Mine was also 2m but i took within a month to get serviced at 720kms.

Also make note to close the throttle slightly on the down hill.

1. Which one sounds better !?
Dominar or FZ 25 !?
2. And why is it that both bikes 0-100 speeds are same !? Around 8.5 seconds !? Is something fishy here !?
3. What's the mileage of fz 25. Only those people who have done more than 2000 Kms should answer this one as I think they are better equipped to answer this question.
4. Which one is more fun to ride - dominar or fz25 !?
5. I found console of dominar better than fz 25. However which one offers better readability in sunlight !?
7. Should waiting for akula or g310r make sense !?

I am sorry. I know I might be repeating some of the questions which have been previously answered here already. But I am in a bit of hurry. Need to make a decision asap.

I like AR Rahman Music. Honestly, I found FZ25 to be better.

Thanks for the privilige, Mine is done close to 3000kms and returns 40kmpl in city.

Duke. But Dominor is more of tourer and FZ25 a power commuter. Fun is in the way you twist the throttle.

Dominar is leagues ahead and better than on FZ25.
7. Should waiting for akula or g310r make sense !?
g310 isnt going to come soon.

1. which sounds better is subjective. ppl dont like ktm sound but i like it.
2. vbox nos of dominar if done by same riders should be faster. it feels faster from seat.
4. fz would be more fun. it has almost similar setup as dominar. only difference is its significantly lighter. ligher in my books is more fun.
5. console on fz is good. some say its missing out on gear position indicator. i am personally worried about gear shifting quality more. dunno why a console is point of discussion. i like it better than all consoles on which i cant see tacho reading. duke 200 for example. that console has so much info (mostly useless stuff like average fuel efficiency etc) that they had to give a slim line on top for tacho. not a fan of that approach.

if i can read speed, tacho, odo i am fine with console.

7. wait if you want to wait forever. tvs might change its mind and not launch it ever.

Guyz im new to xbhp.
I'm planning to buy bike within this month and I'm very much confused between two FZ25 and Hornet 160

I will use this bike mainly for daily office (30km )and sometimes long drive.

I like every aspects of this bike except headlights illumination..

As i return from office mostly at night time so headlight should b good to drive at night.

So can you guyz tell me about performance of fz25 headlight compared to other bikes like Hornet 160, gixxer
