They could have atleast taken some idea from the gixxer sf that it is quite possible to slap on a fairing on a naked bike and make it look pleasing.
SF is a well crafted bike
This is a total bull shit at least they have designed a fairing inspired from their first gen fazer would have done justice

Indeed this is the worst looking bike on the market & not to mention the horrible color scheme. The grey colored was way better than this hideous gollum. But we live in a country where unique is anything which is not with everyone as they have no sense of anything.

Most terrible design by Yamaha in years. Even more horrible than the Karizma. It's a shocker from Yamaha.

Well it's all perspective. What we may think crap will be gold for some other. They will sell some, doubt the numbers will be the high.

If the engine scoop can be retrofitted to the Fz25 then the huge gap between the silencer and the engine which really looks odd can be covered up.

Exactly.. And it will add to the looks, hopefully.

That's the only design flaw I find with the fz25, looks really bad when the bike is parked on the side stand and is viewed from a distance. I haven't seen this much gap between the engine and the silencer on any other Indian bike till date.

I kind of like the fazer 250. It looks a bit odd, alien sort of. Like a FZ25 with a helmet.

I think its is ore of color tone that makes Fazer 250 looks different.
May be it will look different in Complete black tone.

i dont ask for much when it comes to looks of the bike. plain jane design like fz25 would suffice.

what i dont like is oddball looks. its as if yamaha worked really hard to make fazer look bad. never thought any bike would beat rs200 when it comes to strange looks. fazer does that.

Those fairings look like they're from the R6, but with FZ's headlight.

                              Sad New!

Yamaha FZ25 Cyan colour bike, robbed at gun point from my son in Kota Rajasthan. Bike was new, hardly 1600 kms done and one and half months old. Purchased on 19th May and Robbed on 14th July.

My son yet to make learning licence and has initiated the process.

Lodged FIR on the same day and have informed insurance company as well.

What is the legal hurdle in not having the learners licence at the time of crime.

Will initiate claim after file closure, hope is done in 3 months.

Also KOTA Residents are warned not to venture out in isolated places.

If your son (not having licence) was riding the bike at the time of incident then insurance company can reject your claim ( I am not sure though but happens like this in accidental claim ).

Secondly, I guess learner's licence is made only for gearless vehicles first, correct me if i am wrong.
