I'm not 100% sure but a n300 owner said he's getting the same size for 3-5k range.

          Hello,

I am a new member to this forum. I will be taking delivery of my new FZ25 tomorrow evening. As there any specifics which I should check apart from PDI before taking delivery ?

          thanks and with regards,

Assuming you've done the PDI before making the full payment:
            1. Check the ODO for how many kms the bike has run to/fro RTO for registration.
            2. Make sure you get enough petrol at least to drive without reserve to the nearby fuel station.
            3. Don't forget to get the extended warranty booklet(if you've opted for it).
            4. Check the air pressure(SVC guys are notorious for inflating the tyre more than what's necessary).
            5. Start the engine and let it idle for a couple of minutes before you take off from the showroom(this time can be used to spot any suspicious noise from engine).

That's all I can think of. Wish you all the best with you new ride! Happy motoring!

            Cheers!

Do check the PDF Thread for more information.

After receiving quite a number of PDI queries on numerous ownership threads, I've decided to amalgamate my experience, articles, snippets from different sources, from around the web into a single concise article, for folks who are getting their first two-wheeler. This post is not just limited to motorcycles, but should serve as

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              THE END

I noticed some unwanted kind of vibrating sound from the engine while riding and revs at around 4500-5500. Also while idle and giving revs it creates the same sound which I feel is not quite ok to hear. Is it because of the new engine or it will smoothened itself after say 500 - 1000 kms. Help please
Bro,Its common , Just ask service engineer to adjust the tappet valve, but before pls ensure has he trained for FZ25. After Tappet adjustment the engine sounds awesome and vibration gets reduced. remember it will not get eliminated completely since its SOHC concept engine.

Hey it's not me who got the setup. Well I asked the guy and the answer should be in the thread.
It was for 440/- probably AS200 Windshield.

Welcome to the world of biking. Ask ur dealer for the same. They have it in their stock.

Is ladies footrest available as an official accessory for FZ25? When I took the delivery, the dealers said there's no provision to fit one. AFAIK, there were some reports in which fellow bikers have fixed a custom one. If you have the official ladies footrest, could you please post the photo?

                              Cheers!

Can anyone help me decide on which bike to buy
                                Fz25 or R15 V2.0

Coming from your general commuter bike , I'm a bit worried about the mileage on fz25 . Planning to do occasional weekend trips with friends and mostly for city and local use .
Test rode the Fz 25 and the R15 both feel ok. Fz being more torquier (more fun xD ) . But the R15 didn't feel any less satisfying to ride .

                                So here are my concerns working against either bikes ATM ;

                                1) Milage (Fz25 ,am a student so not much income ) , would be ok of it had atleast 35kmpl (the more the better in this scenario lol )

                                2) Riding comfort (R15): would my friends or family feel awkward or discomfort on them (mainly concern for the R15) , during trips to hilly areas or even city rides for long durations .

                                3) Can R15 do manageable hill climbs ?
Like not revving the hell outta the engine in 1st gear , might be with a pillion.

                                4) will I get to see R15 v3 launched in india before I'm 50 ?!?! (Been waiting a long time for it , driving me nuts !) 😂
