[QUOTE=niharx;1323179]parking light replacement is 5-10 min work & anyone can do it easily.
but not sure about front one.

Enquired in svc today, they told they'll replace parking lights . Will give the replacement bulbs in next service. Now have to find out compatible led for the bike. Any info would be helpful.

Yes, saw a 1wat osram bulb in Amazon. Costs 900 which is too expensive. I'll goto local shop and see if I can get good one for affordable price. Thanks

Almost all fz25 has this its normal.
you can attach any rubber mounting to the brake pedal to counter that.
But it seems to have increased suddenly. In fact, it was not there so prominently at all.

in my bike it was there from the very start but only activates between 4500-5500 rpm range .
i dont rest my foot upon the rear pedal so i dont notice it but its there.

It could be loose chain. Get it checked and tightened if necessary.

Based on opinions from others I have read so far, RTR mirrors seem to be the best bet. I'm going to change mine as well, since my left side mirror got cracked after a minor fall.

Also, does anyone feel the front tyre performs very badly on roads with even minor sand/gravel? Mine seems to slip and slide almost every single time I apply brake(optimally). The performance is quite bad in wet roads too. Whereas the rear seems to hold decently well in both conditions.

This was the image I referred to. What’s that liquid??

I second image, I see some oil leaks. What was that?? Kerosene used to clean air filter box??

That is oil vapours. Common in every bike. Blowby from engine head which is connected to air box with a pipe. A type of pollution control system.

1.yes my chain is always a little loose that might be the cause.
2.in my case front tyre works great ,not a single case of slip on any condition(4600km odo).

Regarding mirrors i will go for rtr as well.

I feel that way too. There is mild power loss too.

                            Dear fellow riders,
I was going through some studies on engine oils and found this article
Synthetic engine oil offers far superior lubrication as compared to conventional mineral-based oil. Mineral engine oil is almost entirely natural while synthetic oil is the product of chemical preparation ...

it has clearly mentioned, " Synthetic oil, with its superior lubricating properties, hinders the running-in process and is best used only after 10,000 – 15,000 km."

AFAIK, SVC replaces the mineral oil with synthetic one during 1st service. Isn't it quite early according to the article? Or are there any other theories behind it?

Is there any "semi-synthetic" option available as a midway, and how would it be?

I think new engines don't require so much break in as they use advanced components compared to decade old engines. So if a manufacturer recommends to use FS oil after 1000 km then they would have done hours of R&D to conclude. Nowadays top end bikes come with pre break in engine so that you can use the engine to it's optimum performance from the beginning. Correct me if I'm wrong.
