Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
By adequate i mean good enough to go. I have found problem only when there are a yellow lights around on potholed stretches. Otherwise the white stream of light is actually pretty good in complete darkness. I know there's always scope to improve but then, I'm happy with what i have.Originally posted by krishna6239 View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It does shake though, i agree to that. But if there's a road stretch where it shakes, i presume the best way to go about it is to go slow. I have not found it shaking on plain roads though.Originally posted by krishan..... View PostMy only concern with headlight is that it shakes to much in uneven surfaces and even in plane surfaces it vibrates too much...... otherwise I'm okay with it..... but the high beam light isn't good it projects a very little area and when u adjust using that screw the low beam and high beam both get up or down simultaneously....means if u change the high beam the low beam automatically change...

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
1st Service is due !
In the coming 2-3 days My FZ 25 will reach 1000 km .
I asked the service guys about the service procedures.
They said that the cost will be about Rs.900/- or Rs.1000/-.
And I should leave the bike in the service centre for about 6-7 hours ! , If I give themthe bike, in the morning they would give it back in the evening .
And Any suggestions on the Oil or lubrication materials ?
I think their are going to use the stock Yamalube mineral oil , is it wise to use a synthetic one ?
Expecting some advices !

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Somewhere I had read that during first service they will replace the mineral oil with synthetic one. Mineral is only for first 1000 km.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Riding is not just a skill, it's an attitude

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi Friends,
Done 3000 KMS in 60days!
I am pretty happy with the performance of my bike. Its smooth and powerful.
Lately, in past few 100 KMS my bike's average has dropped. Till 2500 KMS i was getting average of 40-KMPL+ on highways and around 38-KMPL in city.
But now i am getting arround 36-KMPL on highways and 33-KMPL in city.
Please help!

i was getting 40+kmpl average from the start , now after 3500kms mine also dropped to 38iss.
for me culprit is short rides ,first 60 days i clocked around 3500kms ,after that in 40days only 900kms
also cold weather plays a little part.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I did a 150 KMS ride yesterday, my AVG speed was around 70-80 KMPH ... was let down by the average
Daily running of my bike is 80 KMS (40kms to and fro), but only getting 35-KMPL average, bit dissapointed.
Do i need to change oil? or something else ?
Also planing to lube the chain myself.. kindly please suggest on how to go about it
Thank you!

38 KMPL is still better, mine in 35 KMPL and daily running of my bike is 80 KMS (40 KMS to and fro).Last edited by Harsh73; 11-27-2017, 01:04 PM.

still 35kmpl is great for a 250cc high revy engine.
my riding style is different than yours so there has to be a gap in mileage.
also fuel quality can be a issue try different petrol pump.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Diito..... I have fazer 25 and i did half of Siliguri to Patna at night. I had no issue with headlight brightness doing 100-110kmph, in fact i was pretty happy coming from fazer150. I was riding 1up.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostI don't understand the headlight 'issue'. Is there one as such? I mean, i do a 25 km highway ride every night and the headlight in full beam is pretty adequate.
