    Guys ,
I am facing an issue , My Alpha ( Fz 25 ) has just completed 800 km and just 2 weeks old .
There is leak from the exhaust pipe from the underbelly of the bike. I have never scraped the underbelly. As I have been using this bike very carefully.
I have consulted the service centre guys and they said that the Exhaust pipe is not in stock to replace it .
And asked me to come tomorrow and they will look into the matter.

What is the ideal chain slack for the fz25, and how to measure it?

        4 to 5 mm I believe.
Check for tools on amazon for the same.

How to do? Check YouTube for more info.
Chain links are 135 I guess. Sprocket sizes 15/46 teeth.

Providing info for others to google.

I have this doubt as the bike refused to start in 3 different occasions now. I had to give a little bit of throttle for it to remain on. Or else it will just barely run and go off. And other than that jerky power delivery. That is another doubt I have, is the Fz's throttle that sensitive to even small inputs that if i release the throttle even a little fast it jerks and sounds bad.

It may be caused by some moisture present in the fuel ,
The fuel injector would have reacted to that. Its alright , as you ride more it will back to its normal output.
If it persists ask the service centre guys to adjust the idle speed or check the fuel injector for any foreign particle.

4-4.5 cm. Service centre mechanics are used to FZ 16 chain slack which is 3-4 cm.

FZ25 has a custom made LED chip with completely sealed unit. We can't do anything in this regard.

Only viable way to solve this issue is by installation aux lights. Other ways is by changing headlight assembly to aftermarket one's or forcing Yamaha to do a factory recall, which seems highly unlikely.

                      Correct!
I misunderstood mm and cm. There is a ton of difference between them.
                      It’s 40 to 50 mm

Bro no one can do anything with the headlight unit.....
You have to live with this......or install aux lamp or change the whole headlight unit with another bikes...

I don't understand the headlight 'issue'. Is there one as such? I mean, i do a 25 km highway ride every night and the headlight in full beam is pretty adequate.

I know it's very far from reality but it's always good to dream. Yamaha India messed up on this pretty bad, if these people have some pride and dignity they would have addressed/accepted this issue.
I seriously wonder whether Brazilian counterparts will have same headlight issue or fitted with better spec one.

First time I read someone saying that FZ25's headlight is adequate for nighttime highway ride. You must be a dare devil of some kind.

My only concern with headlight is that it shakes to much in uneven surfaces and even in plane surfaces it vibrates too much...... otherwise I'm okay with it..... but the high beam light isn't good it projects a very little area and when u adjust using that screw the low beam and high beam both get up or down simultaneously....means if u change the high beam the low beam automatically change...
