Hello guys, im thinking about upgrade to fz 25 from hornet. And i got confused when i saw that from 2019 ABS is mandatory. And again implementation of ABS will also increase the cost of the bike. So, is it worth to wait for ABS or it wont make any big difference from current scenario. Need your valuable suggestions on this.

When it's mandatory every single bike price is going to increase thats for sure, but it's for your own safety so you should definitely consider an ABS bike because its the future & few thousand rupees isn't valuable than your life bro...

The point is that yamaha is making us fool, all 3 companies bajaj, suzuki and now Honda is offering abs in its baja ns200,rs200, Suzuki offering in its Gixxer SF & intruder & now Honda launches hornet cb160r with led headlamp and optional abs....but only Yamaha isn't offering any of its abs equipped bike in India..even the R15 V3 don't have abs..... Isn't it a joke.... [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

No need to drill the stock visor. I've installed it and I drilled 4 new holes on the Pulsar's visor, which now matches the 4 screws on stock visor

In addition to that I added two metal strips which fixed the visor with fork mounting.

              You can refer this video

He has drilled few more holes for registration number mounting. I removed the plate and paste a sticker on front mud guard.

Nice! And you left the stock visor as is or did you remove that? Post a few photos(if you can), it would help.

Honestly, have you felt the need for abs yet? I feel the brakes are very capable and will not lock unless in desperate situations.

ABS is needed in such situations only. water, oil, sand on the road.
Its like air bags/ ABS in cars.
Its a safety measure and not something that improves breaking.
the moment front wheel locks one cannot steer the bike.

The unused four holes you see in pics are original with Pulsar's visor, whereas I drilled other four, where screws are mounted. Click image for larger version

Neat job man! Regarding the holes, fill em up with papers/glue or m-seal etc., and then get some decal/stickering work done over the entire visor, if you don't really want a clear visor that is.

The showroom guys are adding a Rs4000 extra saying registration and handling charges apart from tax and other stuff. wanted to know if it is genuine charges.
Handling Charges is Scam. Not to be paid.
Registration is far simpler than it is. Get the required documents from Showroom and get it done yourself.

Wax will look good one for a day!
Best is to get it partial wrapped.

I got the Red Carbon Fiber vinyl and plan to put that on top and side parts of tank.

Yamaha made it clear last year that they won't be offering ABS until it becomes mandatory.

Yeah i know but the question is why they're not offering abs even as an option...
