The stock tyre hugger isn't that effective to begin with but yes during the monsoon I will use it, as of now, there's no ugly mud throw.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
They are charging me labour charge for brake oil change (200₹), clutch oil change(200₹), fuel pump and injector clean(800₹), all greasing (600₹). These are all labour charges.Originally posted by Swapraj1872Bro i bought an fz 25 thinking t will have low maintence cost .
Whats 4k ??? Are they replacing any parts?
If its free laobour what are they adding to make it 4k . I thought the first three service total cost is 4000rs😎. Pls dont give me a shocker.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Planning to get a fz25 in a couple of months, what's the on-road price price in Bangalore?
i see bikewale and bikedekho quoting different figures 1.42 to 1.5..
how much does the RTO come down to? 12% of the vehicle cost should be around 15k-16k right?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Greasing charge is only labour charge. They aren't charging me for the grease. It's all labour charge. I'm writing a query to Yamaha. I would like customers who have completed their 3rd service to give some feedback and if possible upload their bill.Originally posted by Swapraj1872An air cooled engine no abs . Its as good as a 150 cc bike with more power and torque. I dont see a point where 4 k is what is needed to service the bike unless we change somthing . 1 year running period may add some replacements if driven rashly. Brake pads and other oils . Other than that i dont see any other damage done in a 1 year run in . Its a yammy not bajaj that will require frequent parts replacemnts or repairs r. Thats why i never went with bajaj domino coz its expensive to service due to the tech attached . And rhen those frequent replacemnet and top up of consumables.
Thank god i have got a decade proven engine from yamaha . So what if its air cooled and 2 valves . It adds more life to the engine and save ur hard earned money on fuel consumption and service cost. So bang on target when it comes to PERFORMENCE WITH AFFORDABLITY.
I AM AN INDIAN , I DONT HAVE ROADS TO RUN A SUPERBIKE. I Dont get that high quality fuel in my country . My country is so populated that roads are as good as a park. People drive on roads thinking they just bought the road as well in a complementry offer with the bike. So all this made me go for a quater liter machine instead of 500 or 600 cc bikes. Then there is the cost involved to keep up the bike and in a country where even hospital and medical services are abused as a business. It all comes down to money , the mulla!
So for me rhe bike should be a good commuter and weekend tourer and an apt bike to catch a squid on 200 cc bikes😁.( am i serious ) Na..
I mean to say it should have that power as well when in need. And should not burn a hole in my wallet. AN AFFORDABLE PERFEROMENCE EXPERIENCE. SO i can migrate to higher powerband in 5 years (hopefully my country progresess too and the roads and fuel and traffic common sense)
Untill then its the best bet if you ARE migrating from 100-150-200 CC BIKES.
In this country what other options do we have ???(where yamaha took 10 years to launch a 10 year old engine in indian )😣.

For cleaning something they are asking 800 rs ..🤔. And are rhey greasing the whole bike or where its required .its grease not ghee. It should not cost more than 200 rs.
My advice , talk to service manager say him u have freind in other yamaha service station and he is ready to do it half the price . Its just cleaning. And if u are going to treat me like money milking machine then i am sorry . I will have to take a scond thought. See what he says.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Booked my black knight yamaha fz25 on 26th Jan, been reading comments on this thread which helped me a lot. I had decided ns200 but all my friends and family members went towards fz25.
Which mrf rear tyres do Yamaha provide?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Congratulations. MRF provides nylogrips as stock tyres. They are decent for city use and dry tarmac. For better grip under challenging conditions, I'd suggest an upgrade. I personally changed to masseter and very very happy with it.Originally posted by mehul7 View PostBooked my black knight yamaha fz25 on 26th Jan, been reading comments on this thread which helped me a lot. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I was getting ns200 abs for 1.22l and i thought that fz250 might be around 1.45l which would shoot up my budget. As soon as i got 1.35l quote i changed my decision.Originally posted by Swapraj1872Congrats bro and super cool you booked the knight black color . No graphics ,super mat and gloss combo makes the black one look like a rare wolf on the streets. And i really wanted to know why you were not convinced before to buy a yamaha vs going for a ktm/bajaj.
I believe fz will serve me well for years ahead.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Try paytm. In my city (Karnal/Haryana) the sales guy quoted 1.38 OTR. Along with it he mentioned 2K discount which is weird, on paytm they offer 4.5K cash back for the bike over ex showroom price. U do the math now.Originally posted by mehul7 View PostBooked my black knight yamaha fz25 on 26th Jan, been reading comments on this thread which helped me a lot.
