              Wtf is a clutch oil? Isn't it the engine oil that take care of transmission etc?

                Seeking answer to this desperate question, so posting here too.

                Government has started to mix 10% ethanol in petrol. All engines older than 5 years will see their components fail because of this mixture.

                In short,
                Ethanol mixed petrol will draw moisture(water) from air, when it is stored in petrol tanks.
                This water sinks to the bottom in petrol tanks, where fuel pump/ intake to carb sits.
                in few weeks, the water mixed ethanol starts to form lumps/gel like substance, which starts to clog carburetors & Fuel filters.
                Ethanol is alcohol, which means, its a good cleaner. It can clean the fuel lines and other pipes efficiently. Sadly it cleans till the rubber melts away and aluminium corrodes causing permanent damage to engines.

                Any idea on FZ25 can handle this fuel? FZ25 is launched in Brazil, so do we have same engine and other components of that bike, or our bike components are completely different? What could we expect from this move?

                  Those are obscenely expensive rates. It's better you find a more reputable and honest service center.

                  Here's a list of labor charges displayed at the service center last time I visited. Hope this helps.

                    why brake oil change ???
                    is there separate oil for clutch in FZ. it used to be in age old Bullet.
                    why fuel pump cleaning and injector cleaning so early?
                    what greasing ???

                          Completed 6500 KM Golden Quadrilateral without any issue. so happy about it.

                            ethanol blended fuel has been around in India for a few years now. just that it wasn't consistently available due to erratic supply of ethanol from the sugarcane industries.
                            iirc it was E5 (i.e. 5% ethanol blend).. now its probably going up to e10 (i.e. 10% ethanol)
                            I don't think it will be a major issue for vehicles manufactured in the past 10 years (iirc my 2007 honda dio manual mentions using e10 as safe).
                            if you are someone who uses the vehicle regularly, then you shouldn't be worried much.
                            folks who let their vehicles sit unused for longer periods should be more careful. There are additives that would help overcome this phase separation (i.e. water in fuel)
                            anything over 10% is probably going to cause more problems.

                              Hi guys i am a total rookie over here,
                              After solving out the head cover bolt issue now my bike after riding for some time makes an unusual sound from the engine, like some scratching sound. When i start the bike, sound will be normal, but after some time scratching sound creeps in. Does anybody face the same problem? Any idea what it might be?
                              Also sometimes the gear doesn't gets shift down. I need to release the clutch half way for gear to go down. Hoping the gear shift problem might be solved after some more time.
                              odometer reading is 3000 km

                                odometer reading is 3000 km
                                Start with Chain. Make sure its well cleaned and lubed and also properly adjusted.
                                Gear shift is generally related to chain adjustment.

                                Screeching sound from engine is rare and its there its bad.

                                SVC is taking for a ride.
                                Clutch oil is changed in Scooters generally.
