Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
For the last few days I have been hearing a rattling noise from behind, every time I went over bad roads. I noticed that one bolt in the rear tire hugger had been lost and the other had got loose. I immediately replaced the lost bolt and tightened the other one. However the tire hugger has rattling time and again even after tightening the bolts repeatedly. Later I noticed that the metal pipe which is holding the hugger has cracked on the right hand side. I informed the sub dealer about the breakage and Asked for replacement under warranty since it may be a manufacturing defect. However the mechanic refused and said I might have crashed the vehicle somewhere.
Guys any help in this regard !!

I have a weird question..Do you guys have any holes beside brake lever..??
I have a small hole beside it.attaching snaps for the same.
I guess there might be some kind of cover for that hole , which may have gone..
Can u guys please check and let me know??
Nevertheless , what is the use of that 'hole'..???

Is this okay for new bike and will my mileage increase gradually afterwards?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Guys, I have a FZ25 which has done 5K+ KM's. But now I have to travel out of country for work and there is no one to drive the bike, so planning to park it until I come back.
I will be gone till year end, my dad promised to start it twice a week and let it run for few minutes.
Last time I left it standing for nearly 50 days and my dad was switching the engine on twice a week. When I came back it was just fine no issues at all. But now since its a longer period of time I am worried, any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
MC

If you can afford a new bike wehn you come back to India , I suggest you sell your bike and concentrate on your work. Later when you come back you can buy the new version or some bike better.Originally posted by MC_AngryBoy View PostGuys, I have a FZ25 which has done 5K+ KM's. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Does anyone bought fz25 from Bangalore recently. I wanted to know the actual price charged.
The showroom guys are adding a Rs4000 extra saying registration and handling charges apart from tax and other stuff. wanted to know if it is genuine charges.

Don't pay them a single penny for handling. Threaten with a mail to Yamaha if they try to wind you up.Originally posted by fiero02 View PostDoes anyone bought fz25 from Bangalore recently. I wanted to know the actual price charged.

I'd suggest you to get the bike ridden by a reliable friend for at least once a month for 5-10 kms. One year is quite a long time to keep your bike stationary.Originally posted by MC_AngryBoy View PostGuys, I have a FZ25 which has done 5K+ KM's. Not sure if we will get any response from yamaha. For me also it looks surprising.
As per one of fried
Registration Fees+Smart Card 400
DD 200
RTO charges 100
that comes only 700. Ok let them round off 1000 or 1500 is ok. But 4000 is too much for a 1000 expense.

1) Will they do it at bajaj showroom ?? No way, no!
2) Will there be nay modification to the stock parts ? Yes, some drilling into the stock visor will have to be done to screw in the AS200 visor.
