Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
1st of all the rear brake is shit and now the front is also losses it's bite like the have in new condition...so I'm not happy with that kind of brakes in such a powerful bike.....& Nobody knows what happened next so it's good to have a safety feature like abs...Originally posted by JyotishmanS View Post

Please upload the pics if you have wrapped the tank!Originally posted by riazmomin View PostHandling Charges is Scam. Not to be paid.
Registration is far simpler than it is. Get the required documents from Showroom and get it done yourself.
Wax will look good one for a day!
Best is to get it partial wrapped.
I got the Red Carbon Fiber vinyl and plan to put that on top and side parts of tank.

Won't be wrapping complete tank. Just the top and side parts where its more prone to scratches.Originally posted by mehul7 View PostPlease upload the pics if you have wrapped the tank!2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Ride any other bike without abs. Rear brake will be weak. Regarding front brake being weak, get it cleaned and check tyre pressure. I'm at 4300 kms, but my braking is beautiful.Originally posted by krishan..... Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Sorry to tell you but ABS is an absolute must for this bike and the tyre set as the the tyre grip is not so great and fails miserably in construction muds and sands usually found on the road. I myself have had bad experiences with the brake locking and nearly escaped a near fatal accident caused by it.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostHonestly, have you felt the need for abs yet? I feel the brakes are very capable and will not lock unless in desperate situations.

Oh my! Sorry to hear that. Do agree with the tyre grip thing though.Originally posted by vishaldiwan396 View PostSorry to tell you but ABS is an absolute must for this bike and the tyre set as the the tyre grip is not so great and fails miserably in construction muds and sands usually found on the road. The rear tyre fish tails, if you apply the break suddenly with a little pressure.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostOh my! Sorry to hear that. Do agree with the tyre grip thing though.

What did you do to the stock Tyre.Originally posted by Amrit.Singh View PostThat's why I changed my rear tyre right out of the showroom to mrf masseter. I'm yet to lock my rear wheel as the phenomenal grip of the tyre helps by a huge margin.

I exchanged the stock tyre with a new masseter for 1600 including fitting.Originally posted by Sai ashish View PostThe rear tyre fish tails, if you apply the break suddenly with a little pressure.

Here's the current condition of the bike after a fairly dusty ~100 kms ride.

And now the wonderful tyre

Overall a very enjoyable journey. Bike has completed 1000 kms will be going for the next service at around ~1200.

Edit: I applied two coats of original formula 1 wax a week ago. Hopefully it will last for 8-10 weeks and protect my bike from scratches and such.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
So i have begun hearing the dreaded coin-rattling sound. Is loud enough to cause slight edginess between 70 and 85 kph after which it eases away. But then, that is speed range where riding feels most pleasuresome. Would really like some expert opinion on the bottomline of this problem. Is it a problem? Or is it just bad to the ears? Someone out there...
