I prefer to carry the helmet with me in most of the situation, as it also helps to keep it dust free. But in rare situations where I can't, I use a good quality bicycle to tie it to the handlebar and keep it on the tank (Lesser dust enters into it and no scratches on the bike).Originally posted by fiero02 View PostYa the problem with that is people can just cut the strap and take it away. Replace the Nissin Brake pads with BYBRE ones.. Simple solution.. Well I completed 5000 kms yesterday. Very very happy with the bike !!!!
Basically either bikes can be revved hard to get power in top band or can't be revved that hard!! Fz25 is the latter one. It's a beautiful bike for economy and comfort rather than the power churning high revving maniac. If anyone wished for a engine that is a bit detuned for economy and comfort rather than super tuned for raw power this be the bike for you.
With good helmets and gears there is no vibrations or tappet sounds percievable to make one not comfortable, it's not an inline 4. Yes the headlights are a bit weak and one would need aux lamps to seriously tour at nights. 110-120 kmph is a piece of cake for the bike. In fact it will make you see 100kmph a lot . It's too quick to reach there.
Right amount of engine oil reduces tappet noise significantly. Using shell AX7 might be contributing to it. Proper lubrication and chain slack is key to smooth gear shifts. Stock mirrors are useless....got the TVS Apache mirrors.Tyres are okay for dry roads but miserable in wet and muddy conditions. Instrument console is very prone to scratches from dust. Mudguards are useless.....sometimes mud gets as far as the bottom of the fuel tank . But everything else is going good. Have been pretty much fill in the fluids and ride away kind of experience but maybe as it's too young.
And yes if it had a sixth it would be one damn super godly bike from heaven and yammy didn't do that to make sure others in the game dont feel hopeless hahaha. But anyways heaven is a myth!!!!

Btw, are you using the Shell AX7 for your ride? If so, how good/bad is it compared to Yamalube?

And, I don't think many has this issue, so it should definitely not be a major problem. Have you checked your chain slack?
