And, I don't have any issue to pay 4000 or 5000 Rs. but what I got after service was not upto the mark.

Even I was also shocked after checking the final bill. Can you please help me to file a complaint, please!

    Yes, I paid :-(
Consider this as a lesson learned the hard way.

Before paying for your service bill it is your responsibility to check for misappropriated charges, you must always ensure all work has been carried out in a satisfactory manner. If parts were replaced, ask them to provide used parts back as a proof.

Since you were clearly cheated off your money in this case by the dealer as no one ever pays 2000 Rs as labour charges for a basic free service. You must reach out to Yamaha and inform them of this malpractice and ask for an explanation.

Best way to do this is to go to: India Yamaha Motor - Contact Us

And select complaint, followed by entering detailed information about the incident, after submitting the complaint on Yamaha website, you should also drop similar email to [email protected] Don't forget to attach the copy of invoice provided by dealer.

If your query still doesn't get answered within 48 hours, then call their Head office on the number provided on Yamaha India website.

Last resort if of above methods don't elicit a response is to file a complaint in your local consumer court.

    Cheers!

Man, this is loot. How did you pay without raising questions? This hurts. On behalf of all of us, please escalate the matter and teach them a lesson.

Faced a strange thing today. As i was pushing my bike backwards, there was a rhythmic, screeching sound. Came from the either the chain, or the disc brake but I'm not sure. Please shed some light.

Ok, I thought it was 10000 km service.
However, 2000 for labor charges is too much.

Service satisfaction is very average at Yamaha. unless you have a good rapport with SVC guys...it won't be satisfactory.

Totally agreed with you as I trusted them blindly. Heart broken with recent service! So today, I gave my bike to another service centre(City Automobiles, Vikaspuri) and they told me there is issue in alignment/balancing and shocker leakage etc. They also admitted that service was not done properly. It was not my fault but still I've to pay again for all pending or neglected things.

P.S. I filed a complaint on official Yamaha website and sending same as email. Thank You for sharing valuable inputs.

Hello guys... planning for some mods for fz25. I am interested in mobile charger and aux lamps. How much excess amphs does FZ25 produce? And if i have to connect charger and aux lamp how much volt aux lanp should i go for?

Hi all. I just wanna know how long can one ride the fz 250 in a single stretch at about 80-100 kph on a highway before engine stresses out? I'm quite skeptical due to its oil cooled engine

More than 1600 kms. You will need to stop for refuelling. Until you ride in optimum rpm range, it can do that all day.

I heard that 100 kph is reached at 6k rpm. Can it do that for approx 400km? I've ridden an FZ FI on highway and I could feel it's engine being stressed after 80 km at 60-70 kph.

I have done 265km in a stretch without any break on my FZS.. riding around 6k rpm all the way... never felt the engine stressed or heating up. In fact i felt the bike could do more.. but my butt couldn't... i have no doubts FZ25 can deliver the same...

I have serious concerns about this. I travelled from my home to a place about 130km away on an fz fi. It was on highway and I was doing about 60 to 80 kmph. After about half the way, i could feel that the engine was stressed and begging for a break. I stopped long distance travel on air (or oil) cooled bikes after that.

I have the habit of servicing before and after a long ride... and dont push the bike too much.. kept it around 6k rpm.. I dont think oil cooled engine is a big problem for toruing unless it is reved to red line often and pushed hard for top speed...

I hate revving hard. I like to keep revs where the bike feels most comfortable. On my 150cc, thats around 60 to 70 kph.

85 to 100 is the sweet spot for the bike. You can also cruise at 100 to 110 for short periods. This is my experience with the bike. Mileage drops fast after crossing 100 though.
