Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi Richu,Originally posted by Richustanly View PostStock handle bar position in FZ is giving me back pain. Anybody used raised handle bar for FZ25?
I had raised the handle bar. That had solved the wrist pain problem for me, but the bike's handling took a hit. So I pushed it down again to almost-stock position.
If you're doing it, don't forget to re-position clutch/brake livers, and make sure the mechanic uses a T-wrench to loosen/tighten the handle bar bolt. Using a spanner will ruin the looks and functionality of the bolt.

It could be a dent to your handlebar while transportation. The dealers surely will not check for any such defects. Go get it checked asap.Originally posted by Harrisoncool View PostGuys... need some advise... my bike is just 500km's old... since the day i took her in my hand i kind of feel my left handle is not aligned... at first i thought its new and will get used to it...and after 9 days now still confused... i did check my front tyres for improper wearing.. but its perfectly centered... planning to take it to the service center to check it out.. but wanted to know if anyone experienced it... or what could be the issue...

Tappet noice is fine nothing to worry about.. if you are anywhere close to servicing... get the valve checked and adjusted...Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostToday, i felt the coin rattling sound to be the loudest. Idle rpm also stays at 1000 instead if 1200 now. No noticeable difference in performance though. Someone please elucidate about this noise. Harmful or not?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The accident happened while I was coming back from Badlapur to Navi Mumbai There is a turn near Ambernath. Due to poor lighting of both street and my bike I couldn't recognize the turn in time. By the time I relalised there is a turn it was too late for me as I was riding north of 65kmph. Sudden or panic braking caused a rear skid and the bike tilted right . My right knee got hit first and I broke my tibia proxima, i.e the bone below knee. This all happened even though I was in full gear. Well rest of the gear saved me from being severely injured. My helmet and my jacket took the hit. Knee guard saved my tibia and further complications.Originally posted by kris123456 View PostSorry to hear that. Hope you are in good health now.
Dude, what happened to your knee? what you mean by "proper range of your knee"? what happened to your leg? left or right? How it happened?
Range is like bending your knee. Currently I can bend till 90 degree only. Max I can reach 140 degree with proper physiotherapy for another 6 months.
My suggestion to every FZ25 owner will be please install a proper cash guard, headlamp & tire. The stock tire doesn't have much traction so the rear tends to loose control pretty easily on panic braking.Last edited by maadyy; 03-11-2018, 03:09 AM.b SANE to b insane!
