    Trip Review

    (Ride From Kochi to Malapuram
    via Palakkad)

    completed 450km in one day.

    My - //Alpha ( FZ25 )//
“Only made me smile through out the trip.”

There was a pillion rider and we both weighed a total of 120kgs.
And the speed maintained on an avg. was 70-80 and at times above 90 .
I didn’t feel any discomfort at all when riding,
As the single stretch of the ride was just about 200 km (approx.) and had to do offroad for about 6-7 km , and that’s where my Alpha made me proud.
The way was really harsh and filled with uneven rocks and mud and also it was very steep ,
But Alpha could effortlessly carve out the way even with a pillion seated !!..
    and I didn’t even break a sweat !
Yes as Alpha doesn’t have a tall stance , his underbelly scraped at one instance ! [emoji27]
    I know Fz25 isn’t meant to be an offroad-er ‘
But if I was more careful’ it wouldn’t have happened, But luckily for me no damage happened.
    I love My Alpha [emoji8].
And I don’t like getting him hurt .

Alpha returned an Economy of approximately 40kmpl !
And thats amazing , to be truthful I didn’t expect that much !!
And While we pit stopped at a petrol pump to refuel and checked the air pressure -
the rear tyre lost about 3psi and front tyre lost 1psi and I gased them back to 25 (front) and 29(back)

Through out the trip i didn’t notice any heat bothering me , Actually it was much more subtler than in the freaking City traffics. The Yamalube is not bad I think !
After coming back the chain was awfully dirty so i cleaned and lubricated it with Motul Chain Lube.
Also Washed and Waxed my babe.

Now my Alpha is at 2100 km on odo . And soon i would take her to the second service .
And I think i will upgrade to Motul synthetic 🤔

I'm finding more vibrations with 7100. Next service I'll put yamalube. Then after 2000kms I'll try 5100 motul

I use shell AX7 semisynthetic and it's very nice. My gears are smooth...I don't feel much vibrations...ya I'm talking about that 5k rpm vibrations.....and I'm happy.
Maybe shell ultra fully synthetic next time .
