Once you have required documents from Dealer, you can get it done by your self. Atleast in Hyderabad. Check RTO website if it is there.Originally posted by Britto1249 View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
You can ask them to give bike with TC number and then you can do the Registration on your own. Check with Rto in your state. In Maharashtra it can be done. my friend purchased car from Goa with TC no. Plate and then registered it in MaharashtraOriginally posted by Britto1249 View PostCan I get registration done on my own, without going through the showroom guys..??
The t nagar dealer at Chennai says I can't do that !!

How do you guys manage to ride this bike so sedately to get this kind of mileage?Originally posted by enabeelahmed7 View Post
I cant. The best I get is 35 kmpl in the city. That too if I ride "sedately". But in some sections, the bike begs to be pushed!

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi Guys,
This is my first post.
I had recently bought FZ25 [7/7/2017 - Anniversary self present ...
].
I am due for first service this month, till now have not experienced any kind of problem other than Seat being too hard and Rear Tyre mud guard [cant take pillion if its rain].
I don't know whether anyone experienced similar kind of problem or not. If they have faced similar problem, then can i know how they were rectified. I am currently residing in Bangalore and if someone can provide some information about any place where i can get both of these problem rectified, will be of great help....
Cheers.....

Hope you had a great experience with this bike
& yes now if I talk about the hard Seat, its something you have to get it fixed by having a seat cover on top of that for better cushion, but i haven't faced any problem like that so far & the pillion they also never complained about the seat, rather they told me its comfortable......
For the rear Mud Guard I don't have any problem with the pillion sitting behind.
I am not sure you if are aware about it or not, but the rear mud guard is adjustable, so you can adjust it as per your comfort so that it will spill mud on the pillion from rear in rainy season.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
First step for obtaining a driving licence is that we have to take /pass Learners test ( usually a written test or online test taken from RTO office) once you pass then only the physical driving test begins. To start practising on bike the person with Learners must be accompanied by a person who has already got a licence, in the pillion seat. Better consult an AdvocateOriginally posted by Chandan92 View PostSad news!
If your son (not having licence) was riding the bike at the time of incident then insurance company can reject your claim ( I am not sure though but happens like this in accidental claim ).
Secondly, I guess learner's licence is made only for gearless vehicles first, correct me if i am wrong.

Put your console on average mileage and keep looking at it. [emoji57]Originally posted by kaustubh_vaze View PostHow do you guys manage to ride this bike so sedately to get this kind of mileage?

For better FE please use Indian oil xtra premium. I got around 4-5kmpl extra.
Before with normal petrol I too used to get around 32-33 only. Now easily 37-39 in city.

Fz25 or R15 V2.0
Coming from your general commuter bike , I'm a bit worried about the mileage on fz25 . Planning to do occasional weekend trips with friends and mostly for city and local use .
Test rode the Fz 25 and the R15 both feel ok. Fz being more torquier (more fun xD ) . But the R15 didn't feel any less satisfying to ride .
So here are my concerns working against either bikes ATM ;
1) Milage (Fz25 ,am a student so not much income ) , would be ok of it had atleast 35kmpl (the more the better in this scenario lol )
2) Riding comfort (R15): would my friends or family feel awkward or discomfort on them (mainly concern for the R15) , during trips to hilly areas or even city rides for long durations .
3) Can R15 do manageable hill climbs ?
Like not revving the hell outta the engine in 1st gear , might be with a pillion.
4) will I get to see R15 v3 launched in india before I'm 50 ?!?! (Been waiting a long time for it , driving me nuts !)

Riding comfort of FZ25 is really good. Also the pillion seat is very comfortable. Even I think pillion seat is best in this segment of bike. Also I have done 2 trip, both were around 700 odd km, and I got hefty average of 43-45 on highway. In city it is giving me 35. So, you can go for it.

That is true.. but it is a bit distracting and that can be dangerous, specially in the city.Originally posted by enabeelahmed7 View PostPut your console on average mileage and keep looking at it. [emoji57]

I suggest you try the following first:
1. riding at around 45-50 KMPH
2.consistent throttle inputs and
3. A good service might do the job well too

U got bike on 7/7/17, I think first service for FZ25 is after 2 months or 1000KM. So, you are due for first service before 7/9/17.Originally posted by arat View PostHi Guys,
