Omg 45 that's more than enough for me [emoji3] ! How many kms have you finished on your bike so far ? After my test ride of Fz 25 I checked the avg mileage and it showed 24 and I was like "wth [emoji15] " pretty sure it showed that since it's a test model . Did u figure your mileage on the instrument cluster or had you test it using some methods ? . Thx for replying and enjoy your new bike !!

Could someone provide some updates on the fuel injection system on FZ25? heard that its a cheaper FI system and needs periodic maintenance, which can only be done by Yamaha ASS folks.

Whats the cost involved in getting the FI maintained? i am about to jump the bandwagon of FZ25. just wanted to wait until the first batches are rolled out and all issues are fixed.

No point in buying a bike which needs ~1.5K FI cleaning charges, when efficient bikes which don't need such maintenance cost could be bought for few thousands more and offer better performance and egros (read pulsars). just waiting for inputs so, i could finalize my purchase. Thanks in advance.

If their is gap for sensors it is possible to get it fixed.

Someone have installed TVs RTR 180 abs on 200 so it is possible I think

I am sorry guys, I don't mean to criticize your choice.

But I feel that FZ25 is just a beefed up FZ16, most of the components are the same. My cousin has a FZ16 for the past 7 years, I have ridden it a lot (unfortunately). Now he has upgraded to this FZ25, I had too much expectations from Yamaha, especially HANDLING & BRAKING. But Yamaha seems to have used the same FZ16 chassis, forks, swing-arm etc in the FZ25. It also handles the same, maybe a little more stable. I mean the FZ16 already had great handling, I expected way more than that in FZ25.

Don't quote me on the "same components" part. I know there are minor differences in the length, height and wheelbase figures, but in real world it doesn't result in a big change. Forks and fork travel is the exact same. Braking is similar to fz16, mushy, spongy, but powerful.

Power and torque is admirable though. There is a huge difference in engine response and low-end torque, still quite underpowered for a 250cc yamaha motorcycle, they could have derived 24 bhp easily. And apart from that, I don't feel any changes at all. It looks good on paper, but after driving I felt like it's WAY OVERPRICED. Yamaha should have priced it around 100000 ex-showroom.

These are my personal views, I don't hate yamaha at all. I just expect them to make better motorcycles in competition to Duke, cbr250r etc.

And who the hell DARES to compare this FZ25 with KTM duke 250??? The xbhp review is totally flawed in comparing it to the duke, I don't think there is anything in India that can compete with the dukes. Alas I am too tall for the KTM's, hence I can't buy one. But whenever I ride one of those (friend's) I am in total awe by the handling, braking and power delivery, sadly I get uncomfortable quickly. If KTM made a motorcycle for taller guys like me, I would buy it within seconds of launch!

It is one of the advanced ones currently used...It's a 10 hole injector which is more precise .

Brazil test bike appears to be equipped with ABS. Hopefully Yamaha India will also launch the ABS version.

There is no need of abs if you know how to ride
I own a Cbr 250r non abs and have ridden the duke 390s with abs switched off.
I've not faced any skidding issues with these machines
If you are new to these machines then abs would be a wise choice

As per speculation by few auto journos, FZ25 ABS version could be introduced during Fazer250 launch and should be around Sept-Oct timeline.
