Only recently I fitted them and only after that I got those sounds, so my first doubt was very obvious and found out that the culprit was the same crash guard. I found a small mark on the front mudguard too.
Trying to fix it soon trough some engineering work .
      Cheers
I also checked my crash guard its scratching front mud guard. Need to figure out something like cutting it or something else. New buyers Please consider this before buying crashguard.

Plz send me pic of ur crash guard. Because here Dealer is saying that Company has changed old design & this will not touch. But I can't just believe them . Plz send wide angle pic so that Crash guard design can be identified

The mudguard is scratching at the centre part. If they have reduced the thickness there or have made it two pieces then it should be fine.

This one looks different. Exhaust pipe is inside the crash guard on old ones. Even the shape is different.

Unfortunately the guy was occupied when I called him twice. So gave the plan a rest. Now will try to fit one soon. Thanks again!

The day i got my crash guard fitted i didn't have any problems as other guys have reported. And i was thinking what is that happening. Now after seeing the pics i came to know the difference. Yes dealer is right. There is a difference in design. I have no problem with my crash guard.

I am finding the crash guard fitting is different in different locations.

Some fastened from the engine and some from down pipe.

                    What is the right thing??

Is it that yamaha has different designs or it is just the dealer fixing leg guard of his own fastening from the place where it gets fixed.

Self not done much research, hope someone can throw some light on this.

Split leg guard from the top is the right leg guard; but all photos carry different designs, how this is possible???

Please help me decide between FZ25 VS Duke250.
I don't have to commute to office but I do weekend trips on Apache 160 RTR. So I need a long term companion for some weekend trips or visiting places around city.

I will tell you why I choose FZ25 over Duke 250

                            1. 250cc at just 1.20L ( I don't know what's the rate after GST)
                            2. Bike looks sexy . You will fall in love with her if you ride her once.
                            3. The average mileage you can get is 36-40 (speed below 60)
                            4. FZ25 looks big when you compare it to Duke
                            5. I wanted something like fuel efficient and good for touring and Suitable for traffic ride, Their is no heating issue.

Now I will tell you why I didn't choose Duke 250

                            1. I didn't like the design of headlight it looks ugly.
                            2. Pillion seat is not comfortable.
                            3. In stop and go traffic it will get heat pretty quick. And you can feel around your leg.
                            4. Bike gives 25-30 in city that made me a little bit disappointed because am a student.
                            5. FZ 25 is quick compared to Duke 250 in (0-100).
                            6. I felt engine is not smooth.

and I would like to tell you disadvantage of FZ25 which I felt.

1.Headlight beam is not that good.
2.if you are a guy who hate your bike getting dirt this may irritate you. Because mudguard are not that good. Especially the front one.
                              3. Be careful when pillion is sitting because if you raise throttle suddenly he will fall. ( It happened for me few days back but thank god my friend didn't any big wood he got a scratch on his left hand)
                              4. You need to add extra cussion to seat to ride more Kms without hurting your butt.
