As other members have posted here.
I too have slight pain on right wrist. This is particularly the accelerator being hard because of dual cables and hard retainer spring.

Its only that you need to get used to it. Two days without gloves i rode the bike and pain was more, so went back to gloves.

I checked FE from reserve to reserve and delivered 45kmpl in city. After 1st service at 720 on odo I rode from Delhi to Punjab 355kms + local ride and return total 1,024km trip. In highway got 44.8kmpl which also include 300km of pillion ride.
Few things about my ride experience, bike was cursing at 90-95kmph while going and at few occasions gone above 100kmph @6500rpm. At return trip pull bike aggressively above 100kph till 125kph, FE of return trip will find after reserve. Bike vibs at 5000rpm and at 120kmph also. Very smooth at 80-85kmph and also at 110kmph. Delivers better FE at 80-90kmph but starts to decrease after 100kmph. 40kmpl can be expected above 100.

No problem with the bike till now except oil leakage from few places. Complained at 1st service, mechanic tighten the bolt and said will be checked at next service if leak again.

Do post mileage figures you guys are getting. I read someone claimed 80km/h at 5000 rpm and 100km/h at 6250rpm. But bike does those speeds at 5250rpm and 6500rpm, don't know why?

Do not worry this is not a problem. Its a big bore and new tighten piston rings so will heat. Will get normal after 500kms and 1k kms.

What a frustrating experience you had with the new bike but i am glad that you got the new bike instead. Congratulations man!

I didn't heard of this problem reported by other FZ owners. Juddering happens when the clutch plates are bent, it happens when the plates aren't able to play at clutch housing. This is mainly happens at worn clutch housing. When this happens, the bike will judder while releasing clutch from stand still. Yours was a major problem with the crank case, therefore, they dismantle the complete engine. Otherwise if it was only the clutch, then simply replacing the clutch housing would have solve the problem.

Ns200 and duke250 are way smoother than this.
Every bike will vibe at some point. My FZ vibe at 5k rpm and at 120km/h. Otherwise very smooth at all other speeds. It will get smooth with time. Now the engine is new. Gear shifting also got better and will get better will time.

Its about the free play adjustment. Just pull the clutch lever cover and you will find adjuster there. Also given in owners manual.

          Hey guys,

Touched 141kmph as per GPS Speedometer app, while the console was showing a reading of 145kmph.

Looking for some wind shields for touring which will gel with the bike. Any good place in Bangalore where I can get good windshields?

I had a defective headlight and SVC guys plainly refused to replace, I contacted Yamaha directly and explained the issue and demanded a HU replacement for which they obliged and SVC guys called me the very next day for replacement, Face Palm!!!

I also reported about poor headlight throw and hard seats, they said they will consider it and if more number of people report about the same issue then they will be looked into, not sure how far that statement is true.

No it cannot, tnt300 is twin and fz is single. And most free flow exhaust would sound similar on it same goes for d400 i ride. Its just loud and irritating. Stock exhaust is always the best.

Some fellow baleno hit the exhaust cover and he in turn was shouting at me. I was going straight and this fellow turned. Those marks are tire scratches.

Any how...this is what a toothbrush, diesel and sponge with do to clean a chain.

As i said earlier. I was ahead of the car and going straight. Car moved slowly to left with out realising me ahead.
Traffic was at snail pace, so no one was hurt except the exhaust cover.

What the Baleno driver think happened.

Good thing is that plastic part can be replaced later.

Looks like sensor location for ABS. Yamaha probably has future plans.

                              Nice and clean chain.
Dip a cloth in petrol and clean the exhaust if white stuff is balenos paint it would go away and tire marks too.

Imo Use a soft cloth and that gel based automotive polish to remove any paint onto it(if it's not scratched).

Dont use petrol as it may remove the coating onto exhaust.
