Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
You can correct that BHP figure, apply at RTO (if showroom has done it then ask showroom people to correct it). In my case, R3 was registered with single cylinder after few days it was corrected. I immediately complained when hard/permanent copy was not issued.Originally posted by GandalfTheGrey View PostOh! That'll be frustrating. Yeah you're right! Apparently only address can be changed. Anyway now that I'm informed the BHP figures are mentioned in KW and not in BHP, I'm relieved the entry in RC is correct
Cheers!

The type of vehicle has "Yamaha FZ" and doesn't mention 25. Also the bhp is 15.4.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Better get this corrected. It must be Yamaha FZ25. This is data entry problem with RTO.Originally posted by enabeelahmed7 View PostGot my RC copy today.

It must be something like below.
Wonder when our RTO will be fully computerized!2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2008 - Yamaha YZF R15
2009 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2013 - KTM 390 Duke
2017 - Yamaha FZ25

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Actually BHP is not a unit rather it's a characterstic of the bike, similar to displacement and kerb weight. It's measured in PS. So ideally it should be 20 PS rather than 20 BHP.Originally posted by keith_j_snyder2 View PostBut the RC clearly mention BHP then how come it's KW?
Since we unanimously use PS it has become a common usage say the bike is of 20 BHP.
Cheers!

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
One clarification. Actually BHP/PS or KW is the unit of Power. So if they say BHP, then it shall be indicated in BHP. I mean we cannot say FZ25 BHP is 15KW ? But FZ25 power rating is 20.5PS/BHP (or) 15KW.Originally posted by GandalfTheGrey View PostActually BHP is not a unit rather it's a characterstic of the bike, similar to displacement and kerb weight.
