Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I only took 4000 max, no vibration. New engine will have vibes a bit. Once it runs will get smooth. You cannot do anything about the vibes from engine. Just ignore.Originally posted by hemanta View Postonly me?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
If you get concerned about every bit of comment then you will not able to buy any bike because you will find something negative on every bike. FZ is one of the best choice in the market today in terms of performance, reliability, durability, longevity, refinement and comfort. Don't listen to everyone. Don't stumble upon other opinions. Get what you feel is good for you.Originally posted by prashnagpal View PostI am so much close to buying this bike & when i read such comments i get worried.
My odo is at 300. No problem so far with me what other people have faced. And I'm sure i will not face any. And those were not major issues and easily fixable.| SOL 68s | Rynox Tornado Pro | Rynox Advento | Cramster TRG2 | Scoyco MC20 | Hero 5 and SJ6 |

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Bro at present fz25 is the best bike to buy. Take a look at dominar thread after looking you won't even think to buy it.Originally posted by prashnagpal View PostI am so much close to buying this bike & when i read such comments i get worried.
Vibrations are common in bike.
1. If you take a look at dominar it's built quality is not good
2. Duke and RC are not at all suitable for heavy traffic and they will give you less mileage
3. fz25 built quality is good mileage you can expect Upto 45kmpl and it's quicker than Duke 200 and Duke 250.
All bike comes with a disadvantage you have to modify it according to your need.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Somebody put a deep scratch on purpose out of jealousy 😠😡 on the middle part of the tank(the matte black colour plastic part in between which runs like a strip)
Now my question is.... Can I do something to get rid of that deep scratch on the matte colour or nothing can be done?

You can get a tank cover or put some sticker on it to hide.Originally posted by Prasad98 View PostSomebody put a deep scratch on purpose out of jealousy 😠😡 on the middle part of the tank(the matte black colour plastic part in between which runs like a strip)

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi i am new to biking and planning to buy my first bike , i test rode fz 25 it seems the best overall package available in market currently, while test riding i wasnt able to flat foot (place both legs on ground completely) only half foot , is it okay considering i ll be riding mostly in bumber to bumber traffic of bangalore for 50 kms a day.
Is it okay to start on fz 25 or something smaller like gixxer or apache would be more appropriate.
Please help me out Xbhpians.
And i replied to the post as i wasnt able to figure out how to add new post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
If b2b riding is what you'll be doing, I'm not so sure about the FZ if you're uncomfortable on it, especially if it's your first bike. Sure, it's a complete package, but for b2b traffic, you'll probably be better off with a bike that you are comfortable on.Originally posted by tanishbansal View PostHi i am new to biking and planning to buy my first bike , i test rode fz 25 it seems the best overall package available in market currently, while test riding i wasnt able to flat foot (place both legs on ground completely) only half foot , is it okay considering i ll be riding mostly in bumber to bumber traffic of bangalore for 50 kms a day.

Do try out the other bikes too. The Apache will probably fit you better. It's got really notorious wirings, but handles great. The FI/ABS version will probably be out soon, if that's how you roll.
At the end of the day, if you're confident that you can manage the FZ in the heavy traffic then go for it. Tiptoe-ing shouldn't that tiresome as it is not really that heavy.

Thanks for your inputs i was comfortable with bike , i have test ridden rtr 200 an ns 200 also , but fz 25 felt much better , the only concern for me was flat footing both legs simultaneously , i can flat foot if one foot is on shifter and other down , is that okay .Originally posted by numa97 View PostIf b2b riding is what you'll be doing, I'm not so sure about the FZ if you're uncomfortable on it, especially if it's your first bike. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes that should be okay since it is a light weight machine. But for a first timer I wouldn't suggest 200 or 250 CC bikes.Originally posted by tanishbansal View PostThanks for your inputs i was comfortable with bike , i have test ridden rtr 200 an ns 200 also , but fz 25 felt much better , the only concern for me was flat footing both legs simultaneously , i can flat foot if one foot is on shifter and other down , is that okay .

If you're able to manage the bike in traffic during test ride then it's OK. Else as suggested by others look at 150cc bikes if you're sceptical about managing a quarter litre one. It's all about your personal comfort. Do some test ride of all the bikes in discussion and then decide what you feel is better and comfortable. You might delay by one or two weeks for the test ride but it'd be worth it.
Happy riding!

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I hv virtually finalised this bike. I wanted a fuss free powerful reliable machine with great handling for Touring in mountains once in every 2-3 months and for general use else. I seriously considered Rs200 but found lot lot of issues in its engine . See Xda thread it's virtually filled with strange issues. Then Gixxer is also good but it lacks pillion comfort and may not suit me. I am well built 28yr guy.
But I m waiting for ABS version . This bike is only 20000 cheap on road from RS200 that has a ABS. I badly wanted an ABS , I feel it will help in mountain roads and Snow that my bike may face ?
Hey guys plz throw some light on utility of ABS in snow of mountains of Manali/Jipsa/ leh etc. If a bike has special Snow Tyres : ; ;studded with pins ;then how difficult/dangerous it remains in practically to ride without ABS?
Don't Snow Tyres ensure that bike behave just normally on snow just like in Tarmac? Or still skidding chances are high ?
In close turns of mountain how much speed u guys riDe.? Balancing for safety and mile munching both ?
And finally do snow tyres make it more dangerous to ride in non snow mountain paths which will also come along snow paths?
Its quite confusing to calculate all this without some1 experienced guide here. That why I m holding my bike buying and thinking to wait till abs is added in April 18 . But I really really want that beauty now. So should I wait ?

"Tanishbansal"
Please note I am 5'5", still able to ride comfortably FZ25. You will be used to half footing technique once you start riding the bike. Initially while learning you will find that every day and every ride is getting better with skill acquired with odo summing up.Avoid noise pollution. Avoid honking.
