I've done 8000+ kms still no issues. One of our fz25 group member has done 13000+. Still no issues. I think it should be fine.

How much cost for a pair ?

Any mirror vibration ? If yes, at what speed ?

        Rs 440 for pair.
Haven't taken yet to high speeds. But I like them.

        Very good viewing area.

          2. Yes the FZ25 gearshift is not as refined as one might expect, and yes I too have 2 distinct gearshift engagement sounds when I shift. Very distinct n notch like sounds as if the shift arm engages 2 separate notches each shift. I've only just completed 100km so my bike is way too new for me to get overly concerned just yet
I am not saying Yamahas are bad. Just that the similar aged Hornet feels better at this point. Also, I am worried not because it is happening only in the FZ25. As I have mentioned earlier, I faced the same issue in gearshifts in my FZ16. And that never got sorted during my 27k KM of ownership.

I find by applying just enough pressure (less than the pressure needed to actually shift" the shifting is smoother. I guess it might have to do with a slightly looser "play setting of the lever"

Over time though these gremlins s should vanish
Thanks for the tip, will check this.

Bike has been trouble free till now and hope to continue to do so.
Did not face the coin rattle sound posted by other here.
Motor gets refined as days goes buy and gear shift has become butter smooth.

Removed stock RVMs and replaced with RTR.
Fixed LED indicators that I bought from Amazon. However, someones seems to have tried to pull them out but instead broke 1 in rear and 1 in front. So reverted back to stock indicators.

Hello.. This is off topic so please bear with me. I'm planning to upgrade my ride from gixxer to fz25. But I have limited budget. My other option is 220f 2017 as it's in my budget of 1 lakh. I ride 90 % on highways for 45 km daily. If well maintained and serviced on time can the pulsar be good in the long run? Or should I buy fz25 when I have the budget? Pls suggest. Thank you

Hi there, if it's 90% highway rides , I'd suggest you go with the pulsar ns200, beautiful higher rev.... And then fz25, smooth sailing engine , no fusses about reliability, though the pulsar is a good one too,. For further posts on bike selection you can post your queries on which bike section of this forum.

There is bleak chance of quality issue. However it must be specific to a batch. But i dont think it is quality problem.

Did you notice lag in acceleration, low fuel economy?

When i bought my Duke 390, rear brake lever got jammed slightly and i did not notice (wont notice in city traffic and torque that bike makes). Noticed smoke coming from rear and disc was red hot, so was the alloy. Just getting the lever loosened resolved the issue.

When I bought the bike I had complained issue of fish tailing.. but SC guys told it's the bad road so got used to it. I think it was the quality issue as both the brake pads are gone.. SC said I press brake while accelerating which might have caused this. But if that is the case then one of the brake should have got affected .. why both... Attaching pictures of old and new brake pads . Gota check how long will this last. Also regarding the performance.. I'm getting milage of 30(console figures). Performance is awesome. But for 250cc power delivery at top end should have been slightly more. It goes till 90 with easy. Then struggles a lot. Today got the top speed of 133 and it got too shaky so had to let it go..Click image for larger version

Guys it would be awesome if someone sorted the trouble with the tire hugger once and for all I'm sure some DIY champs must have solved this issue, if it has been posted before please share the page number, another thing..... The rusty exhaust, is that rust it just dust?? And i was thinking of somehow fixing the front engine guard from the Duke 200 to my fz25 would it work??

This is what I wanted to fix on my fz25, would it work? And should I get an exhaust wrap for mine? I don't really think it's healthy, the color of the exhaust

Someone posted a link which guided to use Pulsar 135LS's tyre hugger, and according to them it did the trick.
That's the only lead we have, rest is all trial and error.

There are so many riders who has reported cruising at 100/110 is trouble free with some power in reserve for overtake. May be the break pads were touching the discs and you lost the top end. Hope the SC has sorted it out, please do let us know how is the top end after service.

                                Firstly, [emoji1] [emoji7]

I received my yesterday and the first short ride was just sweet!

The Speedo is disengaged for now as the registration is yet to be complete hence I can only ply on the local roads, which brings me to something important where the mechanic pointed out to me that since the speedo is disconnected the engine light will glow once on every key twist, as the engine senses this using one of its 8 sensors.

I'm guessing this is true but I would still like to get this clarified.

                                Secondly,

On the left side of the engine these wires look like the casing has been pulled, though the are perfectly fixed to the engine block. Can you guys check and report this?
