Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi folks,
My first post here. I bought the FZ25 recently. Changed from a AVL TB350 (2006 origin) to FZ25.
Has anyone done a handlebar swap as IamAditya has mentioned? I am contemplating the same.
2 options:
1. Universal Handlebar raisers
2. A Unicorn 150 handlebar
The cables/wires would need to be extended/changed in both cases. Has anyone tried that?
I am more inclined towards #1. But the cable length remains a worrisome issue.
Regards,
Kaustubh Vaze

I felt the same.. I guess the image is not accurate to actual design.Originally posted by Mr.kurup View Post
Does anybody else notice some small similarity in front portion of gxs250 and fazer250 ?
Or am I the only one[emoji53]
Also if it is not to be launched in 12 months, why are they testing it so hardcore now??

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Absolutely agreed, South East Asian market is Yamaha's priority over India's market, at least in terms of performance bikes. Not to mention, they have better modders too. So what works there might not work here and it's wrong to expect that Yammy will follow the same design/marketing philosophy here as well.Originally posted by mknaidu11 View PostIndonesia has more racing enthusiast than India due to availability of racing tracks, hosting racing events now and than and motorbike racing is widely popular as compared to India. Hence sports bikes are more popular in Indonesia apart from commuter bike. Indonesia is much ahead in terms of sports bikes than India and commercially better viable than our country. What is launched in Indonesia may not be true for Indian market. hence keep fingers crossed till you see this is launched in India. Yamaha tends to launch bikes which are only popular in India, and commercially viable.
Yeah, hopefully. The SA said if the 1st gen Fazer250 is like the 1st gen Fazer150, which was just 1st gen FZ+Fairing, then it'll be a direct fit.Originally posted by ramdante View PostGoing by the design of the fairing and headlight, it looks like it should be a direct fit for the FZ25 (may be with some slight workarounds).. Might do the same too, provided it will be beneficial and doesn't cause performance drops due to added weight etc.,
Yeah, looks more just like another render. So not going to cancel the booking. Excited to join the owner's forum. Will post the pics once I get the hands on the bike.Originally posted by PrinceCruise View PostThat design is a rendered design mate, don't be fooled with random pics appearing on net without any credible sources, and don't make plans according to them.
Regards.
Also, there was a very interesting post in T-BHP saying the leaked pics of Fazer 250 resemble those of the leaked FZ25 pics when it was being tested. As the rider and bike of both bikes are very much alike. Link below
Cheers!

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi,
Any one can guide on the issue of buying a bike in one state and registering in other state.
I bought FZ25 from Rajasthan, intend to register it in Panvel.
The issue: Permanent address in Adharcard is in Navi Mumbai.
Solution by dealer: Either cancel present adaharcard with Mumbai address, make a new adharcard in present Rajasthan address. Cancel again the new Adharcard from Rajasthan and make a new adharcard in Mumbai address.
Or
Buy the bike from us and get it registered in Navi Mumabi.
I opted the second option and will be presenting my papers next month for registration in Panvel.
Let me know if anyone did such registration and what documents the dealer will be giving it for registering bike. What I have to look for.Avoid noise pollution. Avoid honking.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Chill bro. Just take the delivery of the bike with ex showroom price and ask the dealer to do a temporary registration from Rajasthan. which will cost you around rs. 800. Come back to Mumbai catch up a local lawyer submit all the documents to him. It will be done within 10-15 days (approx). Cheers.[emoji5]Originally posted by mknaidu11 View PostHi,

Why are you buying it from Rajasthan? Why not in Panvel itself. Lots of hassles in transferring and registering it.Originally posted by mknaidu11 View PostThe dealer has charged 700 Rs for TRC, 3861 Rs for Insurance, Logistic 1500 Rs, Accessories 2029 Rs, Extended Plan: 700 Rs Only.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Thought of buying one in Panvel, however did not want to ride it to Kota. As explained earlier permanent residence, adaharcard are of Mumbai. Dealer has categorically denied to sell bike without permanent address of Rajasthan. He said registration cannot be done without permanent address in Rajasthan. I am staying temporarily for an year or so in Kota.Originally posted by Mandar_C500 View PostWhy are you buying it from Rajasthan? Why not in Panvel itself. Hence decided to start riding the bike in Kota and face the hassle of paperwork in Panvel, rather than ride bike Panvel to Kota, which I felt was more risky being novice rider.
I think within fortnight I can ride from Kota to Mumbai, if required to take bike.

If you believe in statistics:Originally posted by blacklist3 View PostYea that Batman thing is the factor that is pulling me to black too. White some what looked elegant at night. Still confused. Lets see
March to May sales in Kota:18 pieces of FZ25
8: Black
5: Cyan
5: White
hope it helps, numbers are small. Pls check with your dealer, see the public taste if you are undecided.Avoid noise pollution. Avoid honking.
