After getting so many options for consideration, I finally bought white Fz 25 today. Till now I have not faced coin rattling noise from engine nor any other noise. Bike is manufactured in July. Also headlight seems good enough for city rides. Should check on highways. There is a sound from the headlight assembly whenever I go over potholes. Gear shifting is good enough. Have ridden 50km today. Avg kmpl is showing 27kpl. Hope it'll increase after piling more KMs. One thing I hate the most is not having the oil level indicator. As per manual we have to check using dip stick. Pathetic

Avg mileage indicator, in most of the cases, shows less than actual mileage (probably takes some time to calculate).Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostAfter getting so many options for consideration, I finally bought white Fz 25 today. I have completed 1000kms(servicing due) and the Avg.Mileage shows 32kmpl(earlier it used to show 27 and then gradually increased) but the actual mileage is 36kmpl.

Yes it's not completely accurate. Do you ride in city only?Originally posted by nadir View PostAvg mileage indicator, in most of the cases, shows less than actual mileage (probably takes some time to calculate).

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Today i have completed a long journey of 370kms with a pillion weighing 104kg.
70% of ride is in highways rest 30% are in bad almost offroad condition.
Duration of journey-6hrs30min with 3 butt breaks.mileage during the journey was 37kmpl.engine didnt heat up much even during 110kmph run for almost 20 min at a time.
Negetives of Fz25 that no one says
# seats -they are too damn hard for touring.
You cant ride even 40min at one go.
# i found a solution -general furniture cushion(small size Rs150) butt feels happy after the whole journey.(comfort level was almost same as RE classic 350 after cushion)

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
HI,
I own a Yamaha FZ. Currently using Motul 7100 engine oil in my FZ.
Which oil i should use for top up whenever the oil level goes down.
(Motul 7100 has comparatively longer drain interval).
I dont have another bottle of Motul 7100 since it is bit expensive, can i use any other cheaper oil?
Is there any low cost alternative to use it for top up.

Guys. I've finally booked the bike today. I'll be taking delivery in October during diwali. Feeling very happy. Now i just have to wait for the days to come. I will be glad to be added in any WhatsApp group related to fz25. I've chosen the black colour.

That's very good. Although most of the owners here have shared similar experiences (the ones who provided data about mileage here), Avg.Mileage showing less than the Actual/Current mileage.Originally posted by krishan..... View PostMine was showing 38-40kmpl average I complete 100 KMS in city only.
I personally think that Avg.Mileage is just a rough estimation (and in most of the cases, will be less than the actual one), and if one needs to know the mileage, he/she should check themselves.
