Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Been 150 kms of riding the FZ25. Purely in the city.
Everytime you wring the throttle, the power surge that hits you is just awesome. The power delivered instantaneously.

So quickly, that I had to unlearn the previous Thunderbird 350 riding experience.
Compared to that, this thing hits u right in the face. The other issue that I face is not knowing which gear I am in. Because in every gear, the bike surges forward.
And one can quickly upshift to 4th in stop and go traffic too. No hiccups.
The handling is just out of the world. Quick weaving in and out of traffic is a breeze. Overtakes are easy peasy.
I am going to open her up on the highway tomorrow. Will post details here later.
Regards,
Kaustubh

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Some help needed guys......
I'm developing discomfort and pain in my posterior and mid back. I'm coming back to riding after 10 years, having stopped riding a Pulsar 180 in 2007.
I do the basics of having a, not firm but comfortable grip on handle bars and not straining my back with an upright position.
The discomfort starts kicking in after about the 20th km of a ride. I commute 70 kms a day, 35kms each way to work and back.
The seat edges near the inner thighs support radiates with vibes from the engine post 60 kmph, so do the foot pegs and the buzz kicks in at the handle bar. The levels of intensity varies as I go up the speed ranges till about 115 kmph.
The odo is at 1300kms and the first service didn't make much difference to the above mentioned points.
The showroom doesn't have the accessories yet, not even a cushioned seat cover. Any suggestions?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I temporarily switched mine to the ones I had on my Fiero. Big positive difference. Have to see if it vibrates at speed. I am looking at getting the 2017 KTM mirrors as they seem wider set than the RTR ones. If anyone has fitted, please give feedback.Originally posted by sauravalwaysurs View PostHas anybody changed the stock RVMs? If yes, does it help?

you will get used to it. most likely. give it some more time. having a confidence inspiring bike like fz or most sport bikes have the downside. it gives you feedback on different parts of body like through seat, handlebars etc.Originally posted by Mani_K View PostSome help needed guys......

after extended periods it starts paining a bit but ppl get used to it.
also i suggest not to put any accessories on seat and palm grips if possible. on r15 handling gets worse if i even slip a pair of foam palm grips. didnt knew about it but when those grips got torn cause of use, handling of my bike transformed. much better feedback from handlebar and better manuvarability.

Try to contribute something useful instead of behaving like an immature person. If you dont want to help thats ok, just say it. No need to make personal comments. I asked you and members here to take a pic of the Oil cooling radiator if possible. If you cant do it then then just stay silent and dont comment. Its not too difficult. Afterall I am trying to learn what this is and what it looks like on the FZ25.Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostDo you own a fz25? stop being a kid brother coming here and arguing with people wont fetch u anything.
Is that an ACU Gold Sticker? WOW! Where did you get the helmet from?Originally posted by mknaidu11 View PostMy full face helmet.Last edited by MotoBlizzard; 05-26-2017, 11:00 PM.For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

The problem with you, sir, is that you know little and guess the rest. That makes you more dangerous than guys like fusioncoast, bless his soul, because people will take your words as those of an expert.Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostTry to contribute something useful instead of behaving like an immature person. A little humility never killed anyone. When you're caught contradicting yourself in consecutive posts, take a deep breath and walk away with dignity. Sometimes its better to keep quiet and let people think you're a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubts.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It's completely normal. I know some of them who have picked up a bike after long gap and coming up with same complaints. Some of them even bogged down to sell their bikes and get back on four wheels. Many factors are in play that cause discomfort so it's difficult to point to just one and tell that's where the issue is. Be assured that riding daily for over 70kms a day without fuss and after coming back from a long gap will take time to develop.Originally posted by Mani_K View PostSome help needed guys......

On the physical fitness front, if you aren't doing any exercise to strengthen your core area, please start doing some!. Just 10 to 15 mins/day will suffice. Believe me this makes a world of difference not only to your riding but also to your overall physical fitness in the long run. Happy riding!
Cheers!
