Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
No mate, as soon as it reaches 145km/hr max it could go to is 9.3k rpm the rev limiter hits, and if look shifting gears in the Brazil top speed video, he shifts the gear beyond 9.25k rpmOriginally posted by JyotishmanS View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
how does it matter if you reach 146 or 150... if you'll fall you'll land either in hospital or heaven [emoji14]
no abs... this ain't a racing bike... it's just an entry level semi sports bike... enjoy it's torque in the city and decent cruising speed at highway... now we have already bought it... so maintain/modify it enjoy it...

Guys, if you are really interested in Top End Performance. There Is only one way to get it.
- Try to get your hands on the 17T front sprocket of Apache 310
Bike isnt launched yet. Not sure if the chain specs are same or not. If they are same, it should be a direct Fit.
The second option, which is extremely difficult is that, by changing the final drive ratio. Gear box needs to be dismantled. Tedious, hectic, complex and might not worth the pain.
That Chasis can sustain speeds upto 150 MAX. with Pain. Anything more than that, you are asking for pure and expensive trouble.Last edited by kris123456; 12-18-2017, 01:32 AM.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
exactly because.... a smooth engine throttle at 140 and a high throttle and cranky engine sound at 140 there's alot of difference... fz 25 id not really meant to cruise at 140-150 and it's not even for racing... 120-130 is nice if u want high speed ... but anyway for me personally 100 as well gives good feelOriginally posted by niharx View Posti dont want top end performance boost just discussing the difference between indian & brazilian version.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It's not, in fact Yamalube SL 10W40 FS is one of the best out there (used for R3). Of course there are better(depending upon your riding and environment) options but in no ways it should be considered useless.Originally posted by 93nikhilverma View Postthanks alot brother... and yamalube is useless right? [emoji14]
What's useless is, public's fascination with putting performance oriented engine oils in not-so-performance-oriented engines.
Regards.
Any facts or proof to support that claim?Originally posted by kris123456 View PostThat Chasis can sustain speeds upto 150 MAX. with Pain. Anything more than that, you are asking for pure and expensive trouble.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
woooooaaahhhh ok... but my question is why Yamaha has to seperately develop oil for fz 25 if we already had a packaging for R3 ... i mean the same oil was there why a different oil for fz 25...Originally posted by PrinceCruise View PostIt's not, in fact Yamalube SL 10W40 FS is one of the best out there (used for R3). Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
There's no separate oil formula for FZ25, it seems to be the exact same oil in different packaging.Originally posted by 93nikhilverma View Postwoooooaaahhhh ok... but my question is why Yamaha has to seperately develop oil for fz 25 if we already had a packaging for R3 ... i mean the same oil was there why a different oil for fz 25...

Check the SE grade, it's all same. Not sure why Yammy did it, probably to troll.

imo it's a different formulared oil with same grade that's why yamaha trolled us by packing it in a different container... because one thing makes me give a thought that if the company has done so many cost cutting on fz 25 why would it spend another amount on making a different packaging for different oil? well yes because we will buy it.. and pay for it.. and if say we'll use motul yamaha will say warranty void dude [emoji23]
