If we are talking about bikes then its a tight competition between Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha.
Suzuki is as sleepy as the kid in Math class.
This is in regards to world market.
Kawasaki has a lot many offerings and they are all very reliable and amazing machines.
I do miss my R15 and would love to get R3 if I was rich.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

I saw the video. I don't think he is lying. But he is not being completely transparent either. He is not getting warranty claim. Why?

Also some people here claim he used other than recommended class of oil. He will have much better credibility if he disclose everything instead of just abusing service center.
Actually he did not do 2 services in authorized svc , he did it outside hence his warranty got void. Also he poured 20w 50 grade which exceeded both the lower and higher level of recommended oil grade for fz which is 10w 40, he used this for long run as a result of which his motorcycle got problems.

I too want to get the r3. Actually the international motorcycle models like r3 and ninja have negligible issues and are perfect.

Can anyone suggest a list of causes behind motorcycle handle wobble? Additionally, can anyone suggest on my problem? I feel my rear wheel is unstable over uneven roads and low speeds. But, when I let go of the handlebar, even over bumpy roads, the handle is totally straight.

I highly think it's because of the rubber. It's very hard compound Tyre and the season is monsoon now. Very bad combo for stock mrfs .

This might be related to the swingarm bush, I'm not entirely sure though. Try moving the rear wheel back and forth sideways, there should not be any movement.

front and rear wheel bearings, swingarm bushes, cone set bearing. wheel alignment. check all of them if there's any horizontal play.

My right fork seal gave up at 17000km. I do ride in some dusty and bumpy roads daily without care. Will change it and see if it happens again at similar kilometers.

Tiny bit of fogging during heavy rain noticed in the headlamp. Bike otherwise is fine.

Fogging is normal, it will vanish when the weather is clear for few days, this is because there is small gap for air to circulate to cool the LEDs. This happens with my Dominar too.
There are no short-cuts to any place worth going. So ride safe when you are treading uncharted roads.

17k under challenging conditions is good enough IMHO. Please do share the cost break up.

I still haven't taken it in yet. Shouldn't be much just the seal and dust seal left and right. I am used to 50000 km plus service interval on the Fiero under same conditions :-) so I am being greedy. Lol.

Recently I sold my Gixxer (I know I said due to financial issues I can't sell it, but my sister came to the rescue). After a lot of dilly-dallying and thinking I finally took delivery of my FZ25 today.

I was planning for a ~200cc naked, simple bike with FI with a good low and mid range (just like my previous motorcycles - Unicorn 160 and Gixxer), since my usage was ~90% city. The Gixxer was good, but it had started to feel small (in terms of ergonomics) and I had to rev it to 5-6k RPM to accelerate quickly.

Most of the options disappeared due to the above preferences. Left with the RTR200 and FZ25, I had to unfortunately skip the RTR as it was not comfortable for me. I felt cramped and my thighs wouldn't fit in the tank recess. Eventually I settled for the FZ25, having ridden my friend's quite a bit. The torque, comfort and simplicity simply pulled me towards it.

It looks like Yamaha has done something about the gearbox and the panels. My friend's 2017 model has hard/clunky shifts compared to mine and the panels seem to flex more than in mine (July 2018 model). Yes, my bike does have the coin rattling sound, but I actually kinda like it.

Congrats. May I ask your height and weight? Reason being the RTR seems small and cramped for tall guys.

So, after going through many pages of this ownership thread, I came to a conclusion that FZ25 is not a niggle free product.
