Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It's for the expansion area of the exhaust. Not engine. Please get the skid plate as that area is vulnerable to hits from bad road humps. There is a pic somewhere earlier in the thread.Originally posted by Divyanshu_G View PostLast edited by Kirankarunan; 08-23-2018, 12:24 PM.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Went on a 200km ride and I am really worried after that . The main issue that is worrying me is the vibes which were present through out the rev range ( i rode ill 4500 rpm ) . Secondly , the seats are really hard . Does anyone know a place ( in delhi/ ncr ) where we can go and add extra foam on the seats .

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I guess you are within the break in period. Same happened to me too on my first ride within break-in. The bike felt very harsh after some time of constant riding below 4500 rpm. Will go away. About seat, add one inch of foam. Can't say where, don't live in Delhi.Originally posted by Divyanshu_G View PostWent on a 200km ride and I am really worried after that . Those were some relaxing words and yeah the bike is in its break-in period . By the way I need some advice on which engine oil shall I put in during the 1st service .Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostI guess you are within the break in period. 1.) Motul 7100
2.) Shell advance ultra
3.) Yamalube sporty premium
Was reading the manual where it was suggested not to use any high quality engine oil

Well that is interesting . It is the least expensive option of the 3 . I guess I'll try out the yamalube then . I just hope that the vibrations vanish away soon after the 1st oil changeOriginally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostI tried both 1 and 2 and finally 3 is better as per my bike's engine

Vibes will get better as the bike will clock up miles.Originally posted by Divyanshu_G View PostWent on a 200km ride and I am really worried after that . Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Have read owners changing oil to motul, shell and feeling the difference. But others have stick with yamalube. So you can try with all of them and go with the one that suits your bike's engine. Vibes do get reduced once the bike runs more km. I suggest you use yamalube and change oil every 2500km.Originally posted by Divyanshu_G View PostWell that is interesting . Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Use Yamalube, pretty good for about 3500 kms. And there's the question of warranty too. Using of other engine oils may void it.Originally posted by Divyanshu_G View PostThose were some relaxing words and yeah the bike is in its break-in period . Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
This is why I don't trust the SVCs. I have seen many instances in Bengaluru where the SVC has not changed the oil during a service or have poured in old oil. Plus many of them overfill oil.
There is no other bike which ticks the right boxes for me at least (naked/simple/FI/100kmph cruising).

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
My point is that 35000 kms is way too early for engine bore to be messed up so that is why I thought that the quality of engine of fz25 is pretty poorOriginally posted by ankit.traveller View PostYou can find such youtube videos even on busa, r1, ninja, ducati.
