Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
My bike engine vibrates a lot at 5k rpm and at 6k rpm and beyond. The issue has not been rectified even after 3 services. So only I tried other oil as per Reviews in this forum and YouTube but issue got worsened. Hence I switched to yamalube. Don't know what's wrong with the engine and cannot find the cause.Originally posted by Amrit.Singh View Post

Tighten engine mounting bolts at correct torque. Also check rear futrest bolt, leg guard bolt and lubricate swing arm bushes and correct chain slack. Vibes will go away.Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostMy bike engine vibrates a lot at 5k rpm and at 6k rpm and beyond. The issue has not been rectified even after 3 services. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The reason is because the motul that is available now is made here and they add additives to boost oil characters. Because of that Yamaha dropped Motul as it's official India oil supplier. While the Motul 7100 is still better than all other oils. The OEM oil is usually tested for the operating range of the bike. If you find Yamalube is good go for it. Just ensure you change oil way before the usual recommend period.Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostAfter trying both 7100 and shell ultra, I can say my fz25 behaves best with yamalube. With yamalube there is less buss on footpegs and handle bar and engine revs freely post 5k rpm.
I don't use miniral for more than 6 month or 2000km, and a synthetic like 7100 for 1 year or 5000km.There are no short-cuts to any place worth going. So ride safe when you are treading uncharted roads.

Yes even I change oil once in every 2500 km. since I commute 44km daily to office have ridden 13k in less than a year. I'll stick to yamalube.Originally posted by prajnyan View PostThe reason is because the motul that is available now is made here and they add additives to boost oil characters. Ankit sir, it would be greatly helpful if you could post a simple DIY for swing arm bushes lubrication.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostTighten engine mounting bolts at correct torque. I was reading the workshop manual . It suggested to bleed the brakes and change the brake fluid everytime we change brake pads.Originally posted by MadhuBLR View PostFZ25's rear brake pads cost Rs 1600 Including Labour.
My question is - Whether ₹1600 comprehensively includes changing of brake fluid as well or is it just the price of brake pads and labour involved .

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I second that. But this was true in my case only after 10000 kms.Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostAfter trying both 7100 and shell ultra, I can say my fz25 behaves best with yamalube. With yamalube there is less buss on footpegs and handle bar and engine revs freely post 5k rpm.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I got my baby today in cyan colour . I vehemently told the dealership to give me an august manufactured fz25 and I got exactly that .
Any idea about where to buy seat covers , crash/leg gaurd from ? Shall I get it from original dealership itself or aftermarket options are available .

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Thanks . Will get it from Yamaha dealership . But the bash/skid plate is way too small . I am sceptical whether it will offer any protection . Can anyone post a picture of how much area under the belly will it protect ?Originally posted by Vishal Rohra View PostGo for original crash guard and bash plate , seat cover also quiet good what i got from yamaha dealer , hope that helps
