Of late, I have been facing rear wheel wobble. I was hit by a car back in August, and this issue has cropped up since then. I even replaced by swingarm shaft and bushings, but to no avail. Now, as I checked my rear wheel, I saw wobble in my rear sprocket. Even my wheel has mild wobble and it is affecting my handling confidence. I would have liked to post a video, but xbhp doesn't allow that. Kindly help.

A rear end collision can mean multiple sorts. But since you've observed a knack in the rear sprocket. What I'd suggest you to do is remove the wheel at a nearby tire repair shop. Get the wheel fixed in a truing stand and spin the wheel, this way it helps the wheel be free and helps you clearly inspect if the wheel or the sprocket is bent or worse, both. Try not to ride with a wobbly rear wheel at speeds, can cause uneven tire wear and loss of control.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostOf late, I have been facing rear wheel wobble. Remove the tire, the tire wallah can do the rest for you. Do keep your observations posted.

I have completed nearly 2k kms, now it feels as if the handle or the entire fork assembly is tilted to the left (earlier I felt it was tilted to the right).
When I take my hands off the handlebar, the bike goes straight, but the handle/fork assembly seems to be tilted to the left. At slow speeds or after riding over a speedbreaker, the bike pulls to the left.

I initially thought that I was used to riding my CD100 which had this issue, but I rode my friend's FZ25 and it feels fine. I did report this during first service, they tinkered with the setting and said that it is fixed.

That could be because of triple tree alignment issues. I had the same observation.. ask the service center to adjust the triple tree alignment. One drawback i notice with front end of FZ25 is, with slight decrease in tyre pressure, handling becomes worse. What happens when you counter steer? Does the motorcycle kick back? Echoing what Harris said, it could be a loose triple tree to handlebar alignment. It's like those good old bicycle days, where we fall, pick the cycle and we find the wheel is one direction and the handlebar is in another direction. This can be done at a local mechanic by making sure the alignment of the handlebar is perpendicular to the fork T stem assembly. This might be the reason, though on visual inspection it looks fine. I faced this on my Gixxer once, it was noticeable as the front tyre was not in line with the headlight assembly and the handlebar. The problem is sourcing a .428 16T front sprocket, which produces gearing suited for highway cruising. When I got the bike, the coneset was too tight and caused the bike to wobble badly. Perhaps this had a role to play?Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostDarn! Nope, no sounds on hard braking. Keep it stock, at best you can drop a teeth at the rear but then that isn't worth the effort.Stock is 3.067 (15/46).
My stock setup was under 2.6, was a pain to ride within Kerala(Can't go beyond 3rd gear) so I had to change it to 2.85 to make the motorcycle usable at the least. Next time I'll be going for the Duke 200 4 Hole 14/42 setup on my P220 to get a perfect 3.00. As for the current setup at 2.85, the FE has not changed if not gotten better and the top speed is more or less the same at 130+ kmph on the speedo, only difference is that the engine runs at a higher RPM doing the same speeds.Motorcycling Experience:
