Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Its probably cause of older gen engine. Not as concerning.Originally posted by rajan_coolrock00 View PostI bought fz25 recently, it has only hit 100kms on my odo. I have experienced this odd throttle response sometimes.
When I am in idle throttle and suddenly blip throttle my little amount, the response is laggy. It happens 2 out of 7 times
I recently got a new d390 with ride by wire. It randomly gives it blips when I am holding the clutch, by itself. Funny character bike has.

That would be the smart ECU doing the task and taking the burden away from you so that all you get it smooth and sweet feeling.Originally posted by VaibhavPisal View PostIts probably cause of older gen engine. Not as concerning.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

RBW is a crazy bit of engineering. Very fault prone, but a great thing to have. Be careful about blipping and all. RBW failure will give you the worst headache of your life.Originally posted by VaibhavPisal View PostIts probably cause of older gen engine. Not as concerning.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes. It is stiff. But corners feel more confident. Riding on good roads are awesome. But once you enter a bad road Ur hand takes too much toll. Go for 20w only if you are going to ride in some good roads.! In Potholes and speed breakers I feel too much load in hand. If u spend too much time on highways it's worth to change it. A set of seals costed 500rs and oil costed 400 for 3 bottles.Originally posted by hemanta View Post20w will make it really really stiff. Let us know.

I am not sure if the current batch has changed settings from factory. Mine was last years model and changing the setting made a big difference.Originally posted by rajan_coolrock00 View PostI am not asking for procedure, i am asking for the result/feedback. Does ot really improve the visibility?

Seems to be normal. R15 v3 does this too, a guy had come down to the SVC with his father to complain about the exact same thing, only to be told that it's normal.Originally posted by VaibhavPisal View PostIts probably cause of older gen engine. Not as concerning.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Didn't expect that Yamaha would not have a easy fix for such an obvious problem. Regarding this issue, upon speaking to service centre, they were dismissive telling no one has complained. This shows that owners are ignorant of implication of oil cooler clogged with Mud and mostly Yamaha is lazy to fix it. Saves them from replacing rusted exhaust tubes. So decided to look at options and zeroed in on a fix borrowing a Honda part :-)Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostHi.. Anyone has installed mud flap or extension on front Tyre guard?? If so please let me know
Trimmed front Mud guard of Honda Shine and installed. This works perfectly well. Exhaust down tube, Engine head, Oil cooler and O2 Sensor are all protected from the muck with this simple mod.Last edited by bullfrog; 10-30-2018, 02:31 PM.
