Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I paid attention to the vibration on my commute to work this morning.Originally posted by SASWAT NAYAK View PostDo u notice the vibration when accelerated from 45 in 5th?Does your tank also vibrate in that rpm range?
This was what happening in my bike and it was due to the chain sprockets. Now, after replacement, the bike just rides like new.
There is barely any vibration post 4krpm.
I found the most vibration in the 2-3rpm range.
When I am riding a little too slow for the gear.

Ok, so I do not completely understand how to classify the feeling on the bike as to vibration or wobble.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostRegarding the handle, is it vibrations or wobbles?
It feels like a classic 350 in the 2-3 rpm range if that helps.
I had a friend join me on a ride and in the city, he could see the handle shake in the 2-3rpm band.

I'd probably be wrong. But check chain slack once. It may be too tight. If so adjust to 4cm slackOriginally posted by Terrorbladezz View PostI paid attention to the vibration on my commute to work this morning.

Alright, I got it back from the service center a couple of weeks back. I'll adjust the chain slack and then see how it rides.Originally posted by hemanta View PostI'd probably be wrong. But check chain slack once. It may be too tight. If so adjust to 4cm slack
Thanks!

Yeah. The mechanics there keep it at 3cms because they are used to the chain slack in fz150. They actually refuse to listen despite me showing them the info on the manualOriginally posted by Terrorbladezz View PostAlright, I got it back from the service center a couple of weeks back. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
So it's both vibrations and wobble. Try leaving the handlebar when riding and see if it wobbles. Also, does the handlebar feel light? As in, does it lose it's line over bad stretches or hard braking?Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostOk, so I do not completely understand how to classify the feeling on the bike as to vibration or wobble.

Shanx, did they/you finally replace the forks/handebar/T ?Originally posted by Shashank K R View Post@ashwinprakas @B7ACKTHORN @ashwanth.r
An update on my bike-
I visited 3 SVCs, they were all of the opinion that the forks and handlebar are bent.

Anyone using saddlebags on their bike? The viaterra falcon are looking really good to me. 38L is fine by me but im not sure how comfortable a pillion would be. Would really appreciate some inputs on this

Hey no worries bro...last time I went to replace headlights....they had sporty premium....800ml cans...ratopul surely has this . Go with it as fully synthetic shell is not recommended by me at the cost of npr 4000 . Shell Ax7 is better then fully synthetic for me. But since they have started stocking sporty premium ...go for it.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Guys, the hard gear shifts are starting to annoy me now. Everytime I take it to the service centre and report it.. they tighten and adjust the clutch and that's it. Their excuse.. the clutch gets loose over time. But hardly a week into their fix and the same damn issue.. gear shifts get hard and notchy like hell.
Of late the bike sometimes won't slot into a gear or will shift a gear even on a quarter movement of the shifter without the shifter registering into a notch.
These vague gearshifts are now really getting on my nerves and these service guys can't seem to fix it.
On my last visit they've been saying it's a known issue with the FZ25 but Yamaha hasn't issued any directives to them about it other than adjusting the clutch setting
