So far the following the factory specs has worked for me. Only one dramatic failure in spec for me was the tire pressure. Kept on getting puncture at stock pressures. Keeping it 4 to 5 psi higher solved it.

Yamalube FS what you get specifically for this bike and 5000km interval. I guess if someone is doing a lot of aggressive riding good to change more often. Highways and extra slow traffic would be stressful.Originally posted by rajan_coolrock00 View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I don't mind the handle getting heavier. I find it very light now, so a little heavier one will be fine with me. Also the front tyre should be as good as the rear tyre, or if possible, better, since braking is mainly done by the front.Originally posted by madgunnerbomb View PostStick with the stock in front. Handle will be hard if u change the size of front tyre. U can change the rear tyre size for better grip.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I would say yes. But many here will tell you not to use 10w50. If you're in a place with extreme climate, 10w50 would be great.Originally posted by Richustanly View PostWant to try Motul 300v² but i could find only 10W50. Is it okay to use this instead on 10W40?
Now touring in hard-core summers, where the bike is running for 100s of kms, 10w40 might get too thin. Yamaha had built this bike for commuting. So for city use 10w40 is more than enough. But for extreme use in extreme conditions, I'd go for 10w50. Just my choice.
But I would go for 7100 not 300v

Hi, unfortunately the joy was short livedOriginally posted by Kirankarunan View PostHi good to know it worked out.
. I rode for a while and now it feels worse. Confirmed with my friend who now says that it feels like it has met with an accident (due to the misalignment).
I've given the bike again, will visit the SVC (Pacer Yamaha Hebbal) tomorrow and give them a piece of my mind.
I'm getting an FE of 33 consistently in quite heavy traffic. I used to get 34-37kmpl in similar traffic on the Gixxer, so it's quite good. Most of the time is spent in the first 2 gears on my route. I touch 70-80kmph briefly on ORR and Graphite India road.Last edited by Shashank K R; 11-14-2018, 02:48 AM.

What was your original issue? Were you facing wobbles?Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostHi, unfortunately the joy was short lived

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Michelin pilot street radial 110/70 will make handling little bit hard but worth the upgrade. I am using MSR 110/70 for past 17000 kms it's miles better than the stock tyre.Originally posted by hemanta View PostI don't mind the handle getting heavier. Visited the SVC, they made it worse.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostAnd, what did you do? What is the problem like now.
Today I visited the main SVC, they made it as it was before. They refused to acknowledge that anything was wrong.

Ouch! I faced problems with pretty much all showrooms in south Bangalore. Had reasonably good experience with Bangalore Wheels but I think that's completely opposite side of town for you.Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostHi, unfortunately the joy was short lived
. .
The section you ride is one of the worst parts of BLR in office traffic and with metro construction. Lol. So considering that, mileage is very decent.
If you wish to solve the problem on own start with the wheel. See if runout in spec then the fork tubes and then move up the path. Time consuming when you have a day job also. Best to sort out with a dealership. Good luck.

It really looks like one of the fork times is bent. It'll probably be one of the first things I'll replace. Right now I'm at another SVC where I know the service advisor.Originally posted by Kirankarunan View PostIf you wish to solve the problem on own start with the wheel. Pacer Yamaha people are a bunch of incompetent fools.

So problem still not solved? What did the SVC do by the way?Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostVisited the SVC, they made it worse.

They tried to adjust the alignment, and failed. They insisted that nothing was wrong and that the problem could be in my head.Originally posted by JyotishmanS View PostSo problem still not solved? What did the SVC do by the way?
There's definitely a problem with the fork or the triple tree.
