Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Exactly my experience with motul 7100 which I changed at 7000km after seeing Ralph serrao review in YouTube. Now Switched to yamalube and I can say it's far better than motul. Vibes at 5k rpm reduced considerably. Gear shifting is smoother and engine harshness reduced. Motul is not good for fz 25. Maybe shell is better? Anyone can suggest?Originally posted by hemanta View Post

Thank you man. I was starting to think that Motul backfired only with me, since so many people were singing praises of it. I'm sure Motul was good for a few Fz25 owners otherwise they wouldn't praise it.Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostExactly my experience with motul 7100 which I changed at 7000km after seeing Ralph serrao review in YouTube. I'm going to try Shell ultra next. I'll let you know how that turns out. It'll be a while though. I'm at 14.5k kms and I'll go for the next servicing at 16k kms (since 3rd service was at 11k kms and second was at 6k kms). Got no tours planned and won't be riding next month much.

Which yamahalube did you use ? The semi synthetic or the fully synthetic one that is used in R15.Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostExactly my experience with motul 7100 which I changed at 7000km after seeing Ralph serrao review in YouTube. My experience with Motul was good on my P220. I trust Shell more than Motul so I thought of giving it a try.Originally posted by hemanta View PostThank you man. Using Shell 15W50 on my P220 now and the engine runs smoother even in summer heat of 42 degrees in Pune.
Switched to Shell in my R15 too which was earlier running on Yamalube.Regards,

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Motul may be good for few fz25 engines. Few in this forum have tried shell also and found it to be good or better than motul. But after trying 7100 I suggest to stick with stock yamalube but it'll last max 2500km. That's the only drawback of yamalube.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi all. I will be booking the bike tomorrow and take delivery by Wednesday. I want to know what things i should keep in mind while buying the bike? How's the tappet noise on 2018 models? Anything else i should be aware of? Please also could someone give me a short ownership review of the bike? Thanks in advance...

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
My ride's been on the Motul 5100 for the past 800kms or so. The experience has been good. The bike feels a lot smoother across the rev range (till 6-7k), and the engine/exhaust at lower Rpms sound a little more throaty. Sometimes(not always), when I start riding from a cold engine, I feel like there is slight drop in acceleration, not sure if its placebo or if its because of the oil.
So far so good, if it does well for another 3000kms, will stick with the Motul 5100.

What the ****....The dealer is our of his mind...... There is no colour warranty shit with the bike and if company provide this then its for all colour not only for black and white....He is trying to make u fool.... Call yamaha c.care - 1800 420 1600 and ask them yourselfOriginally posted by newwannaberider View PostI spoke with my dealer today. I opted for cyan blue. He told me that there is no colour warranty on blue and there is 2 year warranty for black and 5 year warranty for white colour. Is it true? I hadn't heard of colour warranty before this.
