Sometimes I really fear about them handling the bike during service. I have seen Bajaj guys revving like hell. And when you complain they say it's normal and not to worry. Hope Yamaha is better.

Will be getting the bike as Soon as abs version launches next year. I could go with rtr200 abs too but their service is really bad according to my friends.

These companies don't even spend a penny on educating service guys it seems.

Same thing with Yamaha bro...In my areas the service guys are shit the only thing they know about fz25 bike is how to change oil, oil filter , air filter battery check up, chain adjustment and fi checks ....If u have some problem with your bike bike they said it's normal......Maybe some of them well trained but they are few...

Could be true, better check it with Yamaha directly via email.
RE also had a similar warranty discrepancy with their stone black (iirc that was what it was called) vs other colors. No paint warranty on stone black.

It is true about not educating the mechanics, and irrespective of that our folks for some reason enjoy whacking open the throttle . It has nothing to do with Bajaj, Yamaha , honda etc.. it comes down to the mechanic.

Yeah. I sent an email to the address and called them. The call centre executive said they weren't aware of any such warranty. Now I'm skeptical about the dealer feom where I booked the bike. Should i go forward with the booking or cancel it and look for another dealer? I'll be confronting him with the info on Wednesday as tomorrow is a holiday.

When I handed over the bike for service, the technician revved it like hell and took test drive like drag racing. When parking he could not handle it properly and dropped it.

Ask the dealer to show the colour warranty thing on Warranty Cards or Service Manual. At least Yamaha does not have such thing as these are Plastic material and you generally don't repaint them. If they still hold on to it. Take back your booking amount and go to another dealer.

As someone posted earlier, RE has one specific model for Matt Black which it did not offer the Paint warranty.

I finally jump-started the bike and the mechanic told me to keep it running for an hour for it to charge, did that and the bike ran fine for a few weeks and again today it broke down. What do I do now? The previous mechanic also mentioned that it's because of the LED lights always being on and it drains the battery very quickly.

Check the make and manufacturing year of the battery.
                        3 years - it's probably dead.
You cab get the battery checked and replaced under warranty.

Why would they fit a 3-year-old battery into a bike manufactured in 2017? If they do that, then it means that Yamaha's quality standards are really bad!

Battery warranty is different. They do mention that in the manual. Same goes for the tyres.
Do check that and claim under warranty to get it replaced if its a faulty unit.
