Different sizeed.front tyre will cause two bad thing's

    1. Speedometer won't be able to calculate the actual speed of the vehicle

    2. Odometer won't be able to calculate the actual distance you have been travelled.

P.S. DO NOT QUOTE the entire picture set. Remove all pic before quoting.

Hence they keep adjusting the settings. In my Last visit, they adjusted the setting again, which caused the front end to shake vigorously. Took it to them again, they tightened few bolts and happily said it is common issue. I am so damn sure it is not common issue. I took it to 1500km tour and the bike was planted cursing at 115kmph. But now when i push it just above 70kmph, i can feel my front end shake.
            Hey, is your problem solved?

Got my bike back 2 days ago.. entire front end has been replaced under warranty. Fork assembly, stem, handle bar and tyres. Front end shake appears to be improper tyre wear. Replaced components has been taken by yamaha technician for their R and D. For now, it appears the issue being resolved, have a better front end stability and improved confidence. But i still dont feel tyres are upto mark. Its pretty new, hence wanted to give few hundred km's for the tyres to set.

See, there are two aspects to it. Either Yamaha is doing a blame game, or the tyres are actually bad. Tyres are no doubt bad. But do keep us posted about the feedback from Yamaha.

I guess the tyres were cupped and that's because of improperly aligned and tightened stem. With this new tyres on, will have to wait for another 5k KM to verify. Will keep you guys posted if i get to hear from Yamaha.

Completed 4.7 k kilometres and second service, facing following issues

1.Vibration : The handles vibrates in all RPMS, not at all smooth.
2.Engine backfire : The engine backfires through exhaust like a carbuerator bike
3.Tappet noise: Worse after second service.
4.Handle wobbling: Handle wobble post 70 kmph
                    please advice

Reach out to Yamaha with the problems and there will be solution to it.
Change the service center and you'll see the difference.
Did they add the fuel cleaner in the tank? That's a stupid thing to add.

What should be the tire pressure of FZ 250 while filling with nitrogen? Is it same as that of air?
                        (29 R, 25 F)

                          Yup.
The tyre pressure is less susceptible to external temperatures when filled with pure Nitrogen.
Nitrogen inherently is a highly stable gas. Oxygen and other components that make it AIR are more prone to temperature variations.
                          The pressure remains the same.
Do go over the manual to check what's the recommended air pressure. Its also written on the swingarm.
                          Regards,

Ask the filling station guys, they know well!

8000 kms is an important landmark for the bike, there being some common issues like fork oil leakage and handle pull being reported after that. I have just crossed the 8000 kms mark and for me, the bike keeps getting smoother. Tappet noise is far less pronounced, vibrations are much less and overall ride quality is much improved. There have issues though. I myself faced a handle pull a few days back, although due to someone else's fault, but that has been sorted with complete coneset replacement. Please note that the front end components used in the bike are borrowed from the fz16 and hence has been causing problems. New parts though have been developed with better metallurgy and thus are better. I have replaced the rear brake pads too at about 6500 kms and the new set of pads too are better. They should last much more than the old ones. Looking ahead, i will need replacement of front disc pads at 10000 kms. And yes, i will certainly replace my tyres at 10000 kms. The stock ones keep eroding my confidence everyday. I'm looking at Pirelli Sport Demons as they are available in the rim sizes, both front and rear. Any suggestions regarding tyres are welcome.
