Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I booked a Ballistic Blue FZ. On road was 138173. Thought of going the finance way, but they added 7700 worth of stamp duty, loansurance, registration charges on top of loan amount equalling ONR - DP. Add to it the Amortization being a hefty amount. Hence just paid outright. They offered a leg guard for free if I booked the same day I went for a quote because I told him I am looking at Dominar.
The finance equations are that the dealership has more benefit if a buyer finances the bike rather than outright purchase, as the dealership receives some commission on the EMI. They said I would get seat-cover, coating free if I financed rather than outright purchase. Putting this info here so others can benefit from it.
I have been promised delivery on 8th May, with a free leg/engine guard and body coating. I know coating is useless, nevertheless.
Future modifications are:
I might just add LED pilot lamp and LED turn-indicators from a Dominar or KTM if retrofitting is possible. Also some transparent film on the tank to prevent scratching.
I enquired with the dealership (posted above), they said something like 500 rs for seat cover and 500 for the bike cover.Originally posted by Dinesh.P View PostCover is good and it got straps .... Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I have this heating issue. Bike is 10 months, driven 19620kms, 7th service done, and last service is where I changed the oil to Motul. This time I used Motul 7100 10w50(10w40 wasn't available), , in the previous service I don't know which Motul the local mechanic used. And the first time I changed the oil to Motul, I had the same heating issue but ifaded away, but right now after the service I've driven 200+kms, with varying speeds and constant, is this normal?

Check the amount of oil. Excess oil can strain the engine and lead to overheating. Also, do take in account the change in weather. May is one of the hottest month.Originally posted by jass007 View PostI have this heating issue. So they have two covers. One is waterproof which is orange on colour. Other is water resistant black in colour. I contacted the company and they recommended the black cover despite it being only water resistant. Over thinking. What if they are trying to finish the black cover stock?Originally posted by Abhilash831989 View Postif you are paying for cover, you may consider Raida Bike covers...

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
How do we check excess oil level in engine? And if found excess, how do we level it down ? I mean the quantity of oil we drain out, the measurement point. !!Originally posted by Amrit.Singh View PostCheck the amount of oil. Excess oil can strain the engine and lead to overheating.
