Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi sorry to hear about your situation. A few pages back someone else had a front end issue and got everything replaced under warranty. The fork tube won't bend that easily. But if the triple tree some issue can show up similar symptoms. If the fork indeed was bent, then if you loosen the top clamps and rotate the tube 180 degrees, symptoms should increase or decrease. But all this the showroom should sort out. Good luck.Originally posted by Shashank K R View Post

Thanks, I'll be paying them a visit on Saturday. I don't have the patience to deal with these people in case it becomes a protracted fight. I'll probably change the fork tubes myself if it doesn't work out.Originally posted by Kirankarunan View PostHi sorry to hear about your situation. Other than this, I had an oil leak from near the starter motor which took 3 SVCs to fix, this is laughable.Last edited by Shashank K R; 11-01-2018, 11:55 AM.

Lcd shows 36 I'm getting close to 40. I travel on highways at 80 to 100 kmph. Awesome mileage for a 250cc.Originally posted by rajan_coolrock00 View PostMy dashboard shows 31kmpl and I am getting like 35kmpl between two full refuelling. What is your mileage?

Can't we claim insurance ? I hope there's a one year own damage cover by the insurance fellows !!!Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostI'm pushing them for replacement. Fixing it isn't acceptable especially after my previous experiences with bent forks and the fact that it is a very new bike.
One good thing is that they FZ25 has relatively cheap spares since a lot of the parts are shared with the FZ16 and R15v3. Fork tubes cost around 1400 each, if nothing works out I'll have to spend from my pocket.
Will there be anything else to replace other than the fork tube? I can't see any other damage, no leaks, although I'll also check the triple tree.
Now that you mention it, I do feel a strange reluctance (a slight sensation pushing back) when I try to corner the bike (compared to my friend's bike).

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The LEDs on the KTM "might" be a direct swap on the bike with respect to mount points as fellow Bhpian mentioned, but they won't work the way they're supposed too after they're installed. LEDs use special relay to meter the amount of electricity send to the LED blinkers as opposed to bulb oriented ones. An LED indicator that is fixed with an indicator that is of bulb type will hyper-flash or not flash at all. Using the right LED relay should make it a viable option.Originally posted by Prasad98 View PostHas anyone tried changing the turn signal indicators to the KTM (led) one's?
The stock one's look ugly to me..
Can anyone guide me for the same?

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Fret not. Use a small flat headed thick screw driver and give it a little pressure on the crevice so that it expands a bit, then remove the lock pinch bolt by mildly wiggling back and forth while making sure the pinch bolt is expanded. Takes a little dexterity, but hardly a two min job.Originally posted by rajan_coolrock00 View PostI have removed the lock nut, but I am unable to remove the gear shifter, it seems to stuck there.
Help
If it still doesn't come out after wiggling, take a cutting plier and slowly tap underneath the pinch bolt, it will come out.
Cheers!

It was way more than 2 min job, I had to make that gap more wider, used flat head screwdriver and hammer. Finally, the shifter came outOriginally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostFret not.
