New Delhi: India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd on Saturday said it is recalling 23,897 units of two motorcycle models—Yamaha FZ 25 and Yamaha Fazer 25—in India to rectify issue related to head cover bolt loosening.
The recall, with immediate effect, will cover units of the two models manufactured from January 2017, the company said in a statement. The exercise covers 21,640 units of FZ 25 and 2,257 units of Fazer 25, it added.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I am yet to discover where the head cover bolt is! But nowadays I am observing rattling noise from engine which is irritating above 4000rpm.

Recived these from ali express ,,which one looks better red or blue?
Fantastic !! You may save some power by using 1Watt LED instead of 5Watt bulb.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi All,
Discovered this forum recently and thought I will add in my two bits.
I bought my FZ25 about a month back. I picked up the Cyan/Blue color as it looked different from the blacks and whites. Very happy with the color.
So far I have ridden about 251 km. I only ride it on the weekends. My son and I do an early morning ride everytime. As I am still running it in, haven't taken it out on any highway and have stuck to the city roads. This also helps me vary the rpm while running it in. I must confess that it is very tempting on the empty (ORR at 6:30 am) roads to open up the throttle.
While my preference is more a cruiser, as it has been 20 years since I have biked, I wanted to start with a lighter bike with a more manageable linear power delivery (as compared to the Dukes). I want to use this for a couple of years to get back into stride and then upgrade to a 600-800 cc touring bike.
What I Like -- Nice design (have always been a fan of Yamaha - having owned an RX and an RD in my youth)
- Engine response is understated and linear, not raw power which jumps out at you
- Lighter that the other ones that I compared with and easy to manage in traffic
- Torque is lovely and perfect for my need
Niggles- Mirrors are terrible - can barely see anything
- No ABS - even as an option (not a show-stopper for me)
- Quality of some of the plastic parts are not up to expectations
- Headlight could have been brighter
After riding for a few weeks now - I feel that for a short person like me, I need to reach out a little more and cannot sit as upright as I want to for touring. I have been searching for solutions for this and not many have put in risers. I understand the challenge of wire length and I did see someone has done it by rerouting the wires.
Has anyone in Bangalore put risers? Any recommendations where to go for this as the showroom/service center will not do this
As of now, I am pretty happy with the bike and am waiting for the first service after which I can really check out the highway performance.
Cheers!

Thanks for sharing. My bike is affected and I have given the details as requested by the web page. Anyhow I'll call the dealer trow. May be this is the cause for vibration at 5k rpm and beyond . Will share my experience after issue is sorted out.Originally posted by Sai Madhav View PostHi All,
