Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Soon I'm going to open a youtube channel for all types of diy on fz25. Fitting aux is very easy. I have even bought crimping tool to crimp connectors and bought lots of stuffs. Will show how to work like a pro. How to do electrical modifications like pro without cutting wires or use of tapes. This will include the use of shrink tubes as well. Use of open barrel, insulated & non-insulated connectors and terminals with covers.Originally posted by Joe29 View PostYes, for sure, it will be really helpful for people like me who are into DIY but have no prior experience or know how for approaching these kind of upgrades

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Even I upgraded from an RTR 160 and can relate to this. I think its because 160 has a comparatively free revving engine which never gave the feeling of being stressed even with all that vibration. I am getting used to the nature of this engine and its vibes and it is slowly settling down as more Kilometers pile up. Took it for a top speed run recently and it performed beautifully. It didn't feel stressed and felt smooth with lesser vibes as compared to lower rpms. I am at 2500 Kms on the ODO and have started pushing the bike more to make it free and can feel the difference. I was disappointed after first service as I couldn't feel any difference in the bike before and after service, but with time/km's it is getting better and hopefully it will be good by 5000km/second service.Originally posted by ashokt444 View PostMy Experience with FZ25 - ODO= 1100 km-first service completed-Upgraded from apache RTR 160
Vibrations : The reason I took the bike to speeds of just 75 KMPH till now is vibration. The bike used to vibrate (foot pegs, handle bar) in low RPMS from day one, have written a mail to yamaha and they asked me to wait till first service. But till first service the vibrations are irritating (RTR 160 owner so i know a fair bit about them), even the pillion foot pegs are vibrating (sat and tested by myself). After first service the vibrations are less but still there at 5k RPM and bike feels stressed at 75 kmph

I think the fz 16 comes with a stock 40 teeth rear sprocket and I own a v2 which has a stock 41 teeth rear sprocket.Originally posted by [email protected] View PostHi,
you can change FZ16 rear sprocket wheel, that comes with 44 Teeth, and do not buy FZS version 2 sprocket this come with same 45T.

I got two questions for you. Which bike windshield is that can you send a close pic of it? Very close pic of the screws.
And the clamp you used to fit the aux came with the lights or you bought them separately?| SOL 68s | Rynox Tornado Pro | Rynox Advento | Cramster TRG2 | Scoyco MC20 | Hero 5 and SJ6 |

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I would rather preferred the LEDs with Projector lens.Originally posted by 93nikhilverma View Postanyone using Allextreme 6 Led aux lights?
It had good reviews on amazon.in also a Youtuber recommend these in his vlogs and hence i bought them today... I'm attaching a screenshot too... please advise if anyone using how are they?
also how many of you feel the need of aux lights ?
The LEDs you bought do not have any focused beam and honestly not good for on-comers. Seen on quite a few bikes and did not like it.
Check in my blog where i have setup them on my 390 earlier. Plan is to fix them back on my FZ.
They have better focus and can be adjusted so that on coming traffic do not have problem with it.
Each 10W. Wired them to Pilot lamp connection and worked fine till the time i sold the bike.
Adjusted them for Low beam. This photo is just with LED lamps on. No headlight on.

Do you suggest any particular model of any particular brand ? Or rather a link of it on Amazon or Flipkart would be helpfulOriginally posted by riazmomin View PostI would rather preferred the LEDs with Projector lens.
