Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Actually ppl at SVC wouldn't bother whatever you do to your bike. But when we go to claim any warranty only they would talk about all rules. We should befriend the SVC manager and get our warranty claim if required. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Horn sounds like any P220. The horn model was Minda P90.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostCould you please post audio clip of that horn and relay wiring pics?
Pics of the wiring will be difficult as the routing done by my mechanic was as concealed as possible in the gaps between the battery housing and the front of the frame past the engine

Hey guys,
I have fz25 which was changed due to some prob with the old one
The exchange that i got was a old bike which was there into a nearby showroom,i had to take the bike because there was no stock availability
This bike had rust in many of its metallic corners, also the enging would vibrate more than the first bike which i returned, now i have driven the bike for about 80km and i am noticing a power drop from the engine the bike loses power at 4k to 6k rmp nd feels very sluggish nd tired, the SVC says it commen dnr worry it will be gone aftre serving what do you guys say might be the problem?

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I have driven around 5900km as of now. And I still get mileage of 25-28km/L, both city and highway. Highway if I rev it hard it goes down to 23km/L.Originally posted by GandalfTheGrey View PostMate, the numbers seem to be on the lower side. The worst I got before the 1st service/1000kms is around 35kmpl. The ride included 80% traffic and 20% highway. 26kmpl is something skeptical for this engine. Assuming there's nothing wrong with the quality of the fuel and the bike, I think the worst case mileage should be something between 31kmpl to 33kmpl.
Cheers!
. The SVC guys have no idea on how to fix it.

What is your idle RPM?
Please check your FI idling & Airfilter.
Do you check mileage in console only?
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
My bike gives me 350-360kms for same 8.5liter nearly every time during my commute.Originally posted by jass007 View PostFor 215km, it has used around 8.5L.

I really don't know what to do for this. Its been 2months , I have been to different showrooms, and they're not fixing it.Originally posted by niharx View PostMy ODO=3800kms , city=36-38kmpl , highway=42+kmpl

Idle RPM- 1250rpm, I checked through the usual mileage method, (full tank method). And in console, the console shows variable difference of -/2km/L
