Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes also try to change the fuel station and check if both the wheels move freely while bike is on centre stand. Replace fuel filter , air filter. Check color of spark plug and replace if necessary. I'm getting close to 41 kmpl at speeds from 70 to 90. In city 38kmpl. In worst cast you'll get 35. Shoot a mail to Yamaha motors if issue persists.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostHope you are not getting cheated in fuel quantity by petrol pump. Try to fill 5lt fuel exact from jerrycan then measure mielage.

View PostIn my odo the average is 36.4kmpl and it's almost from last 200km it's not increasing or decreasing at first day when I had my bike it's shows around 38kmpl on average but it's gives me around 27-28kmpl,then 30,32,35,44&38 kmpl...

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I think there's a big variance between us owners when it comes to fuel efficiency and I suspect this is probably due to the nature of the bikes sensitivity to riding conditions and clutch usage.
Higher speeds in free flowing conditions and the bike returns good mileage. If however the traffic is almost 60/80% 1st to 3rd gear max in bursts up to 300-500m max then the efficiency drops big time I feel
My idle is 1300 on cold engine start and mostly 1200 when fully warmed up with intermittent split second drops to 1100 rpm

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I know this has been discussed innumerable amount of times in this thread. But has anyone found a permanent good enough fix for the headlight?. I have seen its performance in the rainy roads of Kerala and it will be very difficult for night rides. I am not into adding auxiliary lights since this is an FI bike and don't want to touch the electricals. This is the sole reason keeping me from going for it since I have to ride in the night everyday after office (rains most of the days) and need really good headlights. Last minute decision between this and RTR. Need to finalize today. Any help would be appreciated.

Bro regarding headlight, nothing can be done as the entire unit is led.Go for rtr if headlight illumination is your first priority. In every other aspect fz25 is better. Now choice is yours...Originally posted by Joe29 View PostI know this has been discussed innumerable amount of times in this thread. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Nah!!.. they are having almost the same top speed + cruising speed.. & milage of rtr200 hovers around 34-36 with sane riding. I don't think this justifies +30k Worth of extra money?...Originally posted by hemanta View PostTop speed and mileage as well I think.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Anyone knows where to buy ladies footrest in Mysore? I contacted 3 showrooms and it's not in stock nor available. Any info would be helpful.

Fz 25 has fatter forks, rear suspension and tyres. Best pillion comfort in segment. Also fuel injection is 10 holes one which is expensive than normal ones. My bike gives more than 42 in highways while riding below 5k rpm (below 70kmph).Originally posted by tanishq View PostNah!!.. they are having almost the same top speed + cruising speed.. & milage of rtr200 hovers around 34-36 with sane riding. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Ball is in your court as money is yours and no one can push anybody to buy the stuff which others like..so it’s individual biker decision to go with his heart and mind... Rupa/VIP underwear also do the same thing as Jockey does but still people go with jockey instead of VIP/Rupa..[emoji12]hope you get it..Originally posted by tanishq View PostNah!!.. they are having almost the same top speed + cruising speed.. & milage of rtr200 hovers around 34-36 with sane riding.
