Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Both fz25 and rtr200 almost same top speed. Just that fz25 is quicker than rtr in achieving roll on to top speed in top gear. I have achieved 144kmph max on fz25. Both are very good bikes on its own variables.Originally posted by tanishq View PostBoth have Speedo sensor!!..

RTR even though being a great bike, as per my experience loses heat too soon while fz25 carries it a little further. Fz25 clearly reaches the ton faster too.Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostBoth fz25 and rtr200 almost same top speed. Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I hope Yamaha officials are reading this - headlight indeed is a blunder on this bike. IMHO, there are few other design mistakes (no ABS, 6th gear etc.), but this should be easily fixable by the manufacturer - Yamaha is not doing it yet, an apparently no easy aftermarket fix since the bike is FI.Originally posted by Joe29 View PostI know this has been discussed innumerable amount of times in this thread. But has anyone found a permanent good enough fix for the headlight?. I have seen its performance in the rainy roads of Kerala and it will be very difficult for night rides. I am not into adding auxiliary lights since this is an FI bike and don't want to touch the electricals. This is the sole reason keeping me from going for it since I have to ride in the night everyday after office (rains most of the days) and need really good headlights. Last minute decision between this and RTR. Need to finalize today. Any help would be appreciated.
See if you want to consider Fazer 25.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
If the Apache 200 comes with only FI then they increase there bike price aprrox 7-10k bro and after that there only 20k,fat tyres and rims also cost more than the 130 on Apache, lead units, and yeah the mileages is better than Apache on fz25......and finally the looks it's looks so much sexy and fresh than Apache in my opinion I would say Apache looks too ugly for me .....Originally posted by tanishq View PostNah!!.. they are having almost the same top speed + cruising speed.. & milage of rtr200 hovers around 34-36 with sane riding. I don't think this justifies +30k Worth of extra money?...

Buddy i have owned a P200NS for 16k+kmOriginally posted by tanishq View PostDon't want to offend any fz250 owner's here!!.. but apart from 0-100 accleraton wat else is better on fz250??... & How does it justifies extra price tag of +30k?...
Have driven ARTR200 FOT 1k and also the duke 200 for quite some, but non of these come closer to FZ25 in engine refinement and smoothness, these Yamaha engines are very very reliable, my frnds having a FZ16 since 2009 and still today hes bike give same power and refinement and even a mileage of 38+kmpl ( only changes cluth plates and both tyres ones).
But at the end of the day its on you how you treat your bike.

I would reiterate its on you how you treat a machine. Even I have a 2009 Bajaj done more than 90k on odo without any engine repairs and mileage of 45+ in city.Originally posted by Prem211 View PostBuddy i have owned a P200NS for 16k+km

The engine on fz25 is very smooth indeed and is as reliable as the parent engine from xt250. About reliability, this engine is a detuned 250cc and this should enhance its chances on reliability.
