Buddy its advisable to leave the tappet noise the way it is,its a common thing with higher cc bikes, if the tappet setting is not done properly then it will change your engines feel totally(in bad way),as these folks at Yamaha SCV are either noobs or dont work properly.

my odo 3800+ ,i was worried about it at first upto 700kms used to come after 30-40kms of riding
after the first service matter got worse tappet noise used to creep in after 2km of riding & this time its louder than before
after 2000 kms the noise is quite low(not audible during riding) & now it creeps in only after 100+ kms of continuous riding.

i will not be doing any tappet adjustment in second service
just pile more & more kilometers then see engine character (which is getting better day by day as per my experience)

why are you discounting engine power? people pay 10s of lacs just for extra power on. super bikes.

in other aspects like handling our 150 cc pocket rockets more then match up to them.

Did you not notice it at the time of delivery? Tyre pressure drop could be due to gap in alloys or a mild puncture or mouth leak.

The tyre pressure was low when i took the bike so they filled the pressure, and took the bike home and just in 2 days tyres has just alsmot zero pressure

For the rust issue check with your svc they will remove the rust and it is not normal on a new bike you should have done a pdi any ways now you have taken it so don't regret just check with svc and for air leak issue check with your nearby puncture guy he will check and tell you and you can check for bends on alloy.
                        Cheers...

Tyre valve core seems the culprit, replace and check again.

Today I did a run of 140 kms. My odo is 700kms. My experience- The exhaust note for rpms above 3900 in 5th gear is too harsh- the sound is like a bajaj diesel auto hitting your ears constantly. You will get tired easily. This is prohibiting me to rev beyond 4000 rpm. I have ridden Suzuki zixxer 155 which has no exhaust noise even at 67 kmph and is simply fantastic, you would be amazed to see how freely the engine revs. The vibes come in at 60 to 74 kmph beyond which it gets smooth. There is constant tappet noise which is irritating. I feel the refinement of engine is not up-to mark and am sceptical of the reliability. The engine sounds like a 10 year old bike- sorry to say that.
